B&B Spoilers Wild Speculation: Steffy Is The One Who Called CPS

B&B spoilers reveal Brooke Logan Forrester continuing to deny calling CPS to report Thomas Forrester as an unfit parent. She may be the one who has been yammering to anyone who will listen that Thomas has to be a danger to Douglas Forrester, but nope, it’s not her. Perhaps she isn’t lying, but perhaps it’s also not who others think it is.

B&B Spoilers Spec: That Voice App Comes In Handy

It seems like Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was caught red-handed due to the recording CPS has of her voice saying her own name and identifying herself as the caller, but that would solve the mystery easily, right? So, then the next logical solution would be for someone to take a recording of Brooke’s voice and use that to make the report.

After all, the soap has made a point of letting us know that Douglas (Django Ferri) has a voice-altering app on his phone that could have been used to get Brooke’s voice on the CPS recording. Since Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) has been known to do creepy things like that before, fan fingers are now pointing right at Douglas’s father, but what if it was another relative who thought she was doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons?

The Parent Trap Gone Wrong?

Brooke has certainly made enemies of Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) grown adult kids, and both of them have spent much of this year doing whatever they can to get Ridge away from Brooke and with their mother, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Except for when she was shot and mourning her not-so-dead husband, that’s been Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) only focus this year. So what if she was the one who called CPS for both her parents’ sake, her brother’s sake, and her nephew’s sake — at least in her mind?

Steffy’s grown weary of fighting Brooke and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) to get them to see that Thomas is a fit father, while also growing weary of just trying to convince Ridge that he is better off without Brooke, so maybe she took some action? Set up Brooke, make her look like a crazed pseudo-grandparent, and get Ridge to dump her along the way. What a win-win for Steffy and for Thomas, and Taylor Hayes, too.

After all, it’s Steffy who assured Taylor that Ridge is about to find out the type of person Brooke really is any day now. Perhaps she knows something that others don’t.
