B&B spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer is settling back into family life now that he has been cleared of killing poor Vinny Walker. He’s referred to his kids — Beth and Douglas — but let’s not forget that Thomas Forrester is Douglas’s birth father. He let Hope Logan Spencer take primary custody of Douglas, but is it time to re-address that arrangement?
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) is clearly a changed man. He had many opportunities in recent months to turn Liam’s (Scott Clifton) situation to his advantage and move in on Hope. Heck, Liam even gave Thomas his blessing to keep an eye on Hope while he was incarcerated.
It was best for Thomas, who was going through a lot a while back, to have Douglas stay with Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam. Now, the majority of you, 54%, predict that joint custody will be explored since Thomas is doing so much better.
Many of you, after seeing B&B spoilers, speculate that Thomas, as Douglas’s birth father, should have primary custody. He’s gotten treatment for his more aggressive nature and has proven himself to be a heroic man who does the right thing. An impressive 40% of you say that he should have sole custody of his son. Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) always lights up when his dad is around. It’s wonderful that Liam’s been reunited with his family. Maybe Douglas should get that chance, too?
Sure, Thomas has shown that he’s changed. But would he have refrained from putting the moves on Hope had Liam gone to the big house for Vinny’s (Joe LoCicero) death? A small select group, about 6%, suspects that Thomas is going to have to do a lot more to show everyone he’s truly changed. And until that happens, you think it’s best that Douglas remain exactly where he is — living with Liam, Hope, and Beth.
