On the August 9 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Katie ponders with Deacon and Sheila the mysterious overdose deaths of Tom Starr and Hollis. They all know that it is too much of a coincidence that both men died from the same drug in a short span of time. Katie’s been doing her best detective work but has been coming up short. Suddenly, she stumbles upon the missing piece of the puzzle that explains everything. It’s a shocker. If you want answers, don’t miss this climactic episode.
Co-workers Unite
Katie (Heather Tom) is hardly alone in wanting the truth about the two deaths at Il Giardino. She just may be the most determined, outwitting even the LAPD. Katie discusses the mystery with restaurant manager Deacon (Sean Kanan) and his number one server, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). They feel the loss of busboy/musician Tom (Clint Howard) and bartender Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) more than anyone. Their deaths are weighing heavy on their hearts.
Sheila and Deacon were outraged that she was taken in for questioning as a suspect. Sheila may have done some things that seemed slightly suspicious, but these two people were her co-workers and friends. Perhaps Sheila lets Katie know in no uncertain terms that she would have no reason to kill Hollis or Tom. Katie doesn’t think that she did it, anyway.
The Main Suspect
That would lead Katie back to her number one suspect, Poppy (Romy Park). She believes Poppy would eliminate Tom to keep her ideal life with Bill (Don Diamont) and Luna (Lisa Yamada). Katie did her internet sleuthing to find out that Poppy and Tom were an item way back when, but Katie needed more proof. Now, it appears she stumbles across the clue that makes everything make sense.
Katie will run down to Deputy Chief Baker (Dan Martin) to show what she has uncovered. Does Katie’s find reveal that Poppy had a big motive? Are Li (Naomi Matsuda) and her ex-husband Jack (Ted King) somehow involved? Or does the evidence lead back to Sheila? The truth will be revealed.
