On the August 22 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Taylor walks in on Brooke telling Ridge about Hope’s kiss. Brooke has been trying to show Steffy and Ridge that there is no Logan/Forrester feud and that she wants everyone to get along. However, she reignites the longtime rivalry once Taylor overhears what Hope did. Be sure to tune in for the drama.
If Taylor (Rebecca Budig) returned to Los Angeles with an agenda, she didn’t reveal it immediately. Her reunion with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was flirtatious but respectful. Taylor didn’t start by calling Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) a two-timing tramp who will never give Ridge consistent love (as she has been known to say). Instead, Taylor focused on their daughter, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and whether Ridge did right by her at Forrester Creations when making Brooke co-CEO.
Taylor sure looked great and played it classy. If anything, that made Ridge more receptive to what she said. Maybe she did get Ridge to think more about his daughter’s well-being over his current love. Of course, this interaction occurred before Taylor knew what was happening between Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle).
Taylor walks in precisely when Brooke is telling Ridge how Hope kissed Finn (Tanner Novlan). We all know that Brooke really tried to get Hope to stop fixating on Finn, but to no avail. Taylor, however, may not see it that way. Overhearing that Brooke was actively trying to break up her daughter’s happy marriage will undoubtedly outrage Taylor. She won’t accept it as an innocent mistake.
In shock and anger, Taylor may also make the leap that Brooke is influencing her daughter to be a distrustful temptress — as Brooke herself was all those years ago. And just like that, the Forrester/Logan war will return in full force. Who do you bet on to win?
