Spoilers for the August 19 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful tease that Bill is reeling from Luna’s kiss that shocked the soap world. What will Bill say and/or do? Luna’s mom, Poppy, still stuck in jail, pleads with Li to help her. Meanwhile, Dr. Taylor Hayes has returned to Los Angeles, making her presence known. It sounds like a surprising B&B day you have to catch.
Misplaced Affection?
Until now, Luna (Lisa Yamada) has been stable, grounded and level-headed. That’s what endeared her to so many people. Unfortunately, she just went through unfathomable trauma in a matter of days. Luna’s mom, Poppy (Romy Park), got arrested for murder, and Bill (Don Diamont) turned out not to be her father. Did this push Luna over the edge? Apparently so.
Bill is also suffering the loss of Luna as his biological daughter, but he is not ready for the impulsive kiss Luna planted on him (the second unwanted kiss on B&B in a week). Though he was known as a player, Bill doesn’t welcome this romantic gesture, unbefitting a father and daughter. He wants to keep fulfilling his father’s role, so Luna’s kiss leaves him utterly blindsided. Will he address the elephant in the room to Luna or pretend the kiss didn’t happen?
Jail Time
Poppy, meanwhile, continues her jail visit with Li (Naomi Matsuda). Li showed up a bit disapproving and condescending with her incarcerated little sister. Poppy pulls out all the emotional stops to get Li to help her. It appears that Li does get swept up in feelings and family ties. What can she do to help Poppy?
A Big Return
Dr. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) returned to Los Angeles and headed straight for Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) home. Finn (Tanner Novlan) will be delighted that Taylor is home; they always get along well. It may also soften the blow of what will come. As Finn is determined to tell Steffy how Hope (Annika Noelle) kissed him, she will need her mother’s support now more than ever.
