Soap Veteran Adrienne Frantz Suffers Dangerous Allergy Scare

Everyone knows that food allergies can lead to scary reactions and that became dangerously obvious to soap veteran Adrienne Frantz recently when the actress accidentally ingested something to which she was allergic.

Adrienne Frantz Has Photo Proof

The actress took to Twitter to show her followers what happened to her Thursday and shared a photo to illustrate it after having something as seemingly innocent as sea salt.

“No Joke! This is the size of my tongue right now after a horrible allergic reaction today! Im allergic to sea salt and I ate something with it. Im ok now but feel like shit! Scary as I was losing my voice and felt my tongue swelling and throat closing! #allergicreaction”

Life and Death
Having one’s tongue swell can be incredibly dangerous as it can block the airway. Frantz, a veteran of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful where she played Amber on both, was incredibly lucky that she survived this incident. It certainly could have been much worse.

Former BB and YR co-star Sean Kanan (ex-Deacon), her character’s off-and-on love interest, reacted to her Tweet, saying to her, “Adrian…. no! Try Benedryl or have Scott get a pin. Feel better.”

Come Back, Amber

Fans still miss the actress on both shows and would warmly welcome the troublemaker. On BB, Amber knew how to throw the Forresters for a loop because of her relationship with Rick, who is no longer with his wife, Maya. Might it be a good time to bring both of them back? Heck, release Deacon from jail so Kanan can shake things up with her too.

As for Genoa City, Amber could certainly be let loose there as well. Needless to say, no soap city is dull if Amber is around.
