The professional setting of The Bold and the Beautiful has always been the world of fashion. Forrester Creations is the main couture line on the show. Over the years, other companies have come and gone as they attempted to make their mark in the competitive design business.
The Bold and the Beautiful Polling
Over the years, Spectra Fashions, Jackie M, and Unicorn Fashions have all come and gone. While Forrester Creations will likely always be No. 1, is it time we see another fashion house make the B&B scene to give Eric (John McCook) and the company a little competition? Soap Hub posed this question to the show’s fans. Read on for the results!
Bring It
The majority of you, about 60%, believe that yes, it’s time to introduce a new rival fashion house. Things are going along fairly well at Forrester these days. Instances in which Spectra swiped Forrester designs created drama in the past. Another upstart company could help keep the Forresters on their toes. As B&B and The Young and the Restless are into crossovers these days, maybe Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) and her design line (Chelsea 2.0) could, schedules permitting, come to B&B.
The Right Pattern
Close to a third of you, about 28%, say that you’d like to see a new rival fashion house but it depends on what kind of new designer would be added to the mix. The obvious choice would be to make the company a startup looking to take Forrester’s business. However, what if the Forresters found themselves competing against another high-end designer? Could a company even more sophisticated than Forrester Creations exist? (Nah!)
Business As Usual
The rest of you, about 12%, say that another fashion house isn’t necessary. There are plenty of subdivisions within Forrester Creations — including Hope for the Future, Brooke’s Bedroom, and others — that can provide potential conflict among the show’s regular cast of characters. Stay tuned to see what happens next! The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
