Should Reese Buckingham Return on The Bold and the Beautiful?

The Bold and the Beautiful won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series for its compelling baby swap tale when many thought Beth was Phoebe. At the center of the saga was Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), who orchestrated the switch in order to pay off his gambling debts. Is another development in this story due to happen?

Crime Must Pay

Too often, bad guys on soaps are paroled way too quickly. Or they don’t get convicted in the first place. That’s why 65% of you feel that Reese, who is in jail, should stay there. Perhaps daughters Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Paris (Diamond White) could do a Zoom call with their dad, make a phone call to him, or write him a letter.

But you feel it’s best that he not come back to Los Angeles — especially as Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) would want to have some choice words with the bad doctor.

Reese’s crimes were committed in California, however. That’s why 23% of you want him to return to the Los Angeles area and answer to not only local authorities for his crimes, but also to the folks who suffered from his actions.

Not only were Liam and Beth devastated, but Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was crushed beyond words after giving her adopted daughter back to the baby’s birth parents.

Don’t Bet On It

On Let’s Make a Deal, Brady asks contestants, hoping to get the best deal possible, to choose between boxes and curtains and envelopes. Maybe something other than time in the slammer is waiting for Reese back in LA?

Some of you, 12%, want him to come home to find redemption. Gambling addiction is a disease just like Steffy’s pill addiction and Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) mental decline. Perhaps Reese could be brought back to LA and be set free based on time served if he seeks treatment?
