Should Liam Be Alone For A While On The Bold and the Beautiful?

Like Steffy with her opioids, Liam has admitted he has a problem on The Bold and the Beautiful. While it’s not as potentially dangerous as his ex’s addiction to painkillers, Liam can’t seem to let go of his former spouse.

Hope (Annika Noelle) calmly expressed to Liam (Scott Clifton) that he needed to let Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) live her own life and stop interfering. Liam agreed, but he still can’t seem to stop caring. He’s keeping a watchful eye on Finn (Tanner Novlan) and feels that the good doctor should not be dating his former patient.

All this begs the question —  if Liam can’t let go of Steffy, should he be in a committed relationship with Hope? Soap Hub asked BB fans if Liam should be living the single life for a while in order to figure out what he wants.

The Single Man

The majority of you, over 57%, say that Liam needs to be single for a long time. For years, he’s been torn between two women and has declared unending love to both. When he’s with Hope, he feels a pull towards Steffy. And vice-versa.

Liam’s got daughters with both women; Steffy gave birth to his daughter, Kelly, and Hope made Liam a father courtesy of their child, Beth. It’ll be hard for him to stay out of both Hope and Steffy’s lives, but perhaps he owes it to them while he figures out what he truly wants in life.

Hope For The Future

Nearly 38% of you voted for Liam to stay with Hope. The pair is currently married and has a life and family together. Not only are they reunited with Beth, but they’re also helping raise Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri). Liam will always be a part of Steffy’s life because of Kelly. But if he backs off a little bit and calms down over Finn, then he stands a chance of hanging onto his family.

The rest of you, almost 5%, say that Liam should be with Steffy. Sure, she’s got this great new relationship with Finn, but history has told us that Liam goes back and forth between each woman. He’s been with Hope for a while. Clearly, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) is not giving up on his obsession with Hope. Liam believes he’s committed to Hope, but can he ever get Steffy out of his system?
