R.J. continues throwing his weight around on The Bold and the Beautiful. After Will punched him, R.J. persuaded his mom and dad to fire his cousin. R.J. might have won this round in his and Will’s rivalry, but the anointed one’s not doing himself any favors.
Key Takeaways
- Will punched R.J. after he tried to make a move on Electra.
- Will’s behavior led Ridge and Brooke to fire him.
- With Will gone, R.J.’s not going to have an easy time pursuing Electra.
So Long, Cuz
Will (Crew Morrow) and R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti) have been engaged in a heated feud over Electra (Laneya Grace). Tensions boiled over during the recent party at the Bikini Bar. After R.J. tried to hit on Electra, Will confronted his cousin and punched him in the ribs.
Although R.J. was fine, he used the situation to take down Will. As expected, R.J. told his parents about the attack and made himself look like a victim. Upset that their baby boy was hurt, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) fired Will.
R.J. looked on smugly as Will received the ax, but he might not be smiling anymore. After Will left, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) pointed out that R.J. is no victim since he antagonized Will. Even Ridge was having second thoughts about firing Will.
While some people don’t agree with the firing, R.J. is happy with it. Now that Will’s gone, he feels that nothing can stop him and Electra from being together.
Villain, Not a Hero
This new version of R.J. is a huge departure from the good boy that fans remember. Since his return, R.J. has become an arrogant jerk in his pursuit of Electra and rivalry with Will.
As the golden child of Ridge and Brooke, R.J. has definitely proven he’s just like his parents. R.J. thinks he can do anything and have anything because his last name is Forrester.
He already got what he wanted in firing Wil. Now he’s going after Electra. However, R.J.’s ego will be bruised when Electra probably rejects him.
Electra won’t be happy to learn of Will’s firing and blame R.J. She’s made it clear that she loves Will, but R.J. refuses to respect her wishes. If RJ had just steered clear of her at the Bikini Bar, then none of this would have happened.
But with Will not around, R.J.’s pursuit will kick into high gear. Given that he’s become B&B’s newest villain, there’s no telling what tricks he’ll use to get what he wants.
