The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, June 27 saw Brooke’s heart break and Luna catching on to Will’s shady scheme.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Poor Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) reeled from Nick’s (Jack Wagner) news. Ridge, engaged? HER Ridge (Thorsten Kaye)? She couldn’t believe it. Nick gave her the details about Taylor proposing and Ridge slipping her old ring onto her finger. Sorry, sweetie, the man you want doesn’t want you back. Not anymore. Brooke was practically beside herself…especially when Nick gave her a play-by-play and told her everything that happened at Il Giardino.

While Nick’s tale was heartbreaking for Brooke, she did find a ray of hope when she learned Ridge hesitated for a second when Taylor brought up marriage. Nick stomped out that light by reminding her that Ridge only paused for a mere moment before choosing Taylor in a very real way. Face it, Brooke, the man is getting married and it’s not to you.
Nick urged Brooke to give up on her ex and choose herself. Choose happiness. Choose him. Nick decided then and there he wasn’t going back to Italy. He was staying right here to help Brooke heal her heart and reclaim her life. A life without Ridge and his mess.
Let’s Plan A Wedding!
All the while, Ridge and Taylor basked in the glow of their engagement. His ring was back on her finger and they were both pleased. Or, at least Ridge told himself he was pleased. His long glances into the void spoke louder than his words. Taylor didn’t notice, though. She was too busy cozying up and riding her pink cloud. So much so, she even started lightly planning the wedding. Wouldn’t their granddaughter make an adorable flower girl? Yes. Yes, she would, Ridge agreed.
They couldn’t discuss vows without discussing Brooke, though. Taylor knew their impending nuptials would send her rival into a tailspin and she definitely would NOT be happy. She’s fought hard to get his attention and Taylor was sure she wasn’t done yet. Taylor also worried about Ridge’s youngest son. They weren’t sure RJ would give his blessing, either. Ultimately, they agreed Ridge needed to be the one to tell RJ and Brooke. Especially Brooke. They didn’t want her hearing it from anyone but him. Whoops…they were too little too late.
Caught Red Handed
The Cliff House crew sat and watched as Will (Crew Morrow) pushed as many buttons as he could to get Luna (Lisa Yamada) to confess her plan. They were excited when she repeated her intention to get rid of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) once and for all. However, simply wanted her gone wasn’t enough for Baker (Dan Martin) to jump into action. He needed more. He needed details. And, sadly, Luna was over talking about it. Instead, she wanted to talk about Will…and why he was really there.

Luna called Will out and asked if he was messing with her. Will tried to explain he was there because he and Luna broke up but Luna wasn’t naive. She knew if he wanted her as much as she wanted him they wouldn’t be talking right now. With that, she went to rip his shirt open to get things started but instead of turning up the heat, she found a wire strapped to his chest. As you can expect, she absolutely lost it. Over at the Cliff House, Baker called for back up – immediately!
Will was holding his own while the cops were rushing to the scene. Sadly, they weren’t fast enough. Luna, trapped and cornered, grabbed her gun and started waving it around.
