The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, June 16, saw the return of Nick Marone, a fresh start for Hayes’s summer, and Taylor calling out Eric.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Over in the main office, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) lamented to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that she missed seeing him outside the office. Why, oh why, won’t he come home where he belongs? The house is too empty without him and she needs someone to bring her coffee in the morning. Can’t he be that guy again? Sorry, Logan, that’s a no-go. Ridge once again explained he’s with Taylor now. She’s the woman who makes him happy.

Meanwhile, at the Forrester mansion, Eric (John McCook) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) had a heart-to-heart after he shared his joy in having her around. Mi casa es su casa and all that. Taylor loved being so welcome…but, she called him out on believing Ridge belongs with Brooke. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Eric had no choice but to admit it. Of course, he also threw in how much he likes Taylor, too.
Later, Ridge came home and Taylor let him know about her talk with his dad. She then launched into Ridge’s feelings for Brooke. Is he still pining for her, especially after the fashion show? Ridge shut that down. No, he’s not holding out hope for a reunion with his ex. He loves Taylor and only Taylor. Everything else is just for work and appearances and sales. No funny business going on around here. Not anymore.
A Very Welcome Surprise
Back at the office, Ridge no sooner left than Brooke slipped into some lingerie to admire herself. She was caught in the act, but not by the man she expected. Instead, when she turned around it was Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) who was lusting after her. He claimed he was just rolling through Los Angeles and wanted to stop in to say hello. They talked about Jack (who is residing in Paris and working in the fashion world) and Brooke touted Nick’s influence on their son doing so well for himself (as she should all things considered).

The next topic of discussion was Brooke’s single status. Nick was in the loop about Ridge being back with Taylor. Brooke admitted she wasn’t thrilled by that twist. Nick suggested the rift was because of the coup and Brooke let him know he’s right. Nick couldn’t believe Brooke was still holding onto that man. He’s hurt her far too much and far too often. Brooke deserves better. She deserves a man who can captain his own ship. With that, he serenaded her and reminded about how good they were together (cue a series of flashbacks of Nick and Brooke’s greatest moments). Then, he kissed her and of course, Brooke couldn’t resist and kissed him right back.
A Beach-Side Summer
At the same time, Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) checked in with Liam (Scott Clifton), and not just about his health. They thanked him for helping set up the Spencer beach house as a day camp since the wildfires destroyed the kids’ school. Hayes was so happy he gifted Liam one of his robot toys and asked Liam to come along for his first day at his new school.
Once there, Hayes was clearly having the time of his life. When the teacher took the kids to the beach, Liam reminisced about his own daughters and wanting the world for them. He then had a mild panic attack about Loony Luna and how he won’t be around to protect his family for much longer. Later, when Hayes came back, Liam pulled Finn aside and made him promise to protect them all when he’s gone.
Little did everyone know that a person with a camera was stalking outside and taking pictures through the windows. That person – Luna. She was keeping a very, very close eye on her little brother and her evil step mother.
