The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, July 8 saw Luna’s shady plans going wrong over and over. First, Sheila took a bullet, then Liam, and then Luna got what she deserved.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Luna (Lisa Yamada) lucked out and won her tussle against her grandma. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) fell to the ground wounded by rogue bullet – thankfully, only her foot was injured. Once Sheila collapsed, Luna raised her gun and pointed it straight at Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Despite staring down the barrel, Steffy jumped into action to take care of the She-Devil and grab her phone to call for help. A move that angered Luna. She ordered Steffy to put down the cell, or else!

Luna began ranting and rambling about Steffy ruining her life. All she wants is to be with Finn (Tanner Novlan) but Steffy is stopping him from being near her. She begged Steffy to give her even a teeny tiny bit of access to her dad, despite her crimes and chaos. Steffy pointed out the gun in her hand at that very minute. Steffy made it clear Luna was going to prison for a long time and swore that Luna would never see Finn again. That was enough to have Luna ready to pull the trigger.
Grief and Sadness
All the while, Liam (Scott Clifton) called Hope (Annika Noelle) to check in and she expressed her love for him (as a friend, of course) and told him she never wanted to lose him. He promised he’s not going anywhere. At least not anytime soon. They then cemented plans for Liam to roller skate with their daughter the next day before getting off the phone.
Hope hung up as Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) came into the design room. She melted into his arms and cried about Liam’s impending death. Carter held her while the tears flowed. Hope is grateful for her time having Liam in her life but they are losing him way too soon. Hope mourned the future Liam isn’t going to get while Carter reminded her that’s not what Liam wants. He wants them all to hold onto the good memories instead of all the what-ifs.

Warning Bells Rang
Meanwhile, Finn was at the hospital talking through his feelings with Li (Naomi Matsuda). He couldn’t stop wondering how his daughter would have turned out had he been given the chance to be her dad and help raise her. But, alas, what’s done is done and his daughter is way too far gone. The only hope they had was that her life after Los Angeles would be good for her. With that, Li left to see a patient and Finn texted Steffy. He then finally decided to listen to Sheila’s most recent message.
Finn attempted to call her back but obviously, Sheila wasn’t going to answer. No sooner did he hang up, though, Liam called and the men decided that if Sheila was worried about Luna this was bad. Very bad. They decided Liam would run up to the Beach House to check on Steffy and make sure all was well.
The Second..and Last Victim
Liam walked in to see Steffy staring down the barrel of Luna’s gun and immediately jumped into action. He wrestled with Luna and once again, the gun went off. And, once again, it wasn’t Luna who suffered the consequences of her actions. Unlike Sheila, though, Liam was gravely injured with a shot to the chest. That didn’t stop him from fighting back, though. Sheila created a distraction for a hot second and Liam snatched the gun out of Luna’s hands and pointed it straight at her. Unlike Luna, though, he didn’t hesitate to fire the shot. “I’m a dead man anyway,” he said seconds before taking Luna out.
Finn arrived mere seconds after Liam took the shot. The good doctor looked around the room at his wounded mother, his unconscious and bleeding long-lost daughter, and his fatally injured friend. He ran to save Liam while Steffy called 9-1-1 for help.
