The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, July 22 saw Li and Sheila bonding over Luna’s loss and Brooke issuing an ultimatum that could change everything between her and Ridge.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was still getting used to the eight-toes life but that wasn’t stopping her from getting back to work. Deacon (Sean Kanan) found her at a table doing inventory and trying to keep her mind off Luna (Lisa Yamada) and Liam (Scott Clifton). Luna’s loss was hitting her hard and thoughts of Liam surviving a gunshot only to battle brain cancer was weighing heavy on her.
Li (Naomi Matsuda) came in and shared the good news about Liam. The fella was saved and all would be well in his world. Sheila commented it was too bad their granddaughter wasn’t afforded the same luxury. Deacon was not a fan of that. While he wouldn’t say he was happy Luna was dead, he did express his relief that she would never come after anyone else again. And, he reminded the ladies of Luna’s destructive ways.

Li pointed out that much of Luna’s horrendous behavior wasn’t exactly her fault. She was brought up badly and she was suffering from trauma and severe neglect. While it didn’t excuse killing two men and gunning for three other victims, it did explain why she went to such a dark place. As far as Li was concerned, Poppy (Romy Park) was to blame for all of it. Every single bit.
Later, Sheila and Li bonded over their shared grief. Sheila asked if there would be a service but no, the family wasn’t doing much of anything. How sad (or is it because there’s no reason for a service). Sheila was disappointed. She never got a chance to say goodbye.
Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me
Over at Forrester Creations, Eric (John McCook) marvelled at Liam’s miraculous second chance at life. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) were overjoyed too. Now, they can concentrate on the Italy trip. Speaking of, Eric showed the pair a video Will (Crew Morrow) created to preview the adventure that looked back on some of their greatest moments in Portofino. How lovely! Brooke then told the men she wanted to invite Nick (Jack Wagner) along – which rubbed Ridge the wrong way. He sternly reminded her this was a business trip. Period.

Back in the main office, Eric tried to level with his son. As far as he’s concerned, Brooke is truly the only woman for Ridge and it’s time his son recognise that. Ridge, however, put his foot down. He was with Taylor (Rebecca Budig) now and he’s madly in love. He demanded his father back off and get out of his love life. Eric did no such thing. HIs son wasn’t in love with anyone but Brooke and he needed to go back to her before he destroyed Taylor completely and let Nick steal his “destiny.”
Later, Brooke went to the design room to work which is where Nick found her. He jumped right into seduction mode and tried to woo Brooke into going to Italy with him instead of the company. Why not? It’s not like Ridge wanted anything to do with her now, the man is engaged. Brooke was aware, of course, but she was still holding out hope.
So, instead of jumping at the chance to be on Nick’s arms, she slid back across the hall and argued with Ridge about Nick some more…and take him on a walk down Memory Lane. She then issued an ultimatum – either he dumps Taylor and comes home or she’s taking Nick to Italy. Meanwhile, Back in the design room, Nick stared at Brooke’s magazine cover and reminisced about their past romance.
