Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 16 saw Liam go under the knife, Finn telling off Poppy, and Bridget making a startling discovery.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Liam (Scott Clifton) had a moment of pause before getting ready to leave the hospital. Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) wasn’t about to let his son’s nerves stop him from being cured. He, along with Grace (Cassandra Creech) assured him all would be well.
Eventually, Liam was taken to a different hospital room where Grace and her colleague scrubbed up to get to work. But first, Grace needed a moment with Dollar Bill. They needed the payment before things could move forward. Bill assured her the cash would be on the way to her account very, very shortly. He then stepped out, leaving his son with the surgeons. Soon, he was put under and the doctors got to work.

We Need to Talk About Luna
At the same time, Bridget (Ashley Jones) touched base with Finn (Tanner Novlan). They talked about Liam’s bravery and how much the drama has messed with Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sense of safety. At least Liam made it though, no thanks to Luna. That’s when Poppy (Romy Park) walked in and demanded to speak to the father of her child. Bridget took her leave to go check on her former brother-in-law.
Poppy got teary-eyed talking about her regrets bringing up Luna, especially not letting her and Finn know they were father and daughter. Poppy then launched into a tirade about how evil Luna truly and while Finn agreed she was a mess he made it clear Poppy was the reason why.
Miracle In the Hospital Room
As for Bridget, she was shocked to find Liam’s room empty. And, even more stunned to hear Grace released him into Dollar Bill’s care. Bridget ran to tell Finn and tell him everything. He was equally as flabbergasted to hear Liam went home with his father.
Over at the clinic, Bill paced the hallway praying for his son to come through this operation and begging God to not take Liam from him. Thankfully, Bill’s prayers were answered. Liam came though the operation and Bill was brought to Liam’s side where he was told they performed the ultimate miracle – the tumor was fully removed and he would soon be back to his regular life. A very long and full life.

The Aftermath of Tragedy
As for Steffy, she was at Forrester Creations with Hope (Annika Noelle), Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). They discussed all things Luna and Liam and what was to come for their favorite hero. Brooke was especially interested in Liam’s cancer diagnosis and why she was left out of that secret. They reminded her that was Liam’s choice and they were merely respecting his wishes.
They all worried about how the impact of shooting someone would affect Liam. He’s such a gentle soul. He doesn’t have a killer bone in her body. They also worried about Finn. No sooner did he find out that lunatic was his child then she stalked, harassed, and plotted his wife’s death. And, now that she’s gone, they wondered if he would ever recover.
