The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 10 saw Sheila on the mend, Liam stable but critical, and Poppy having a shocking reaction to the death of her only child.

What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful

Sheila (Kimberin Brown) woke up to Grace (Cassandra Creech) checking on her. All in all, she was doing well seeing as how she was shot in the foot. A few broken bones and some soft tissue damage, she’s okay. Oh, and she’s missing another toe. Grace was optimistic she’d be good to go after not too long. Sheila’s first thoughts were of Luna (Lisa Yamada) and asking if she was okay. Grace just looked at her with pity in her eyes and said she didn’t have any updates.

Before long, Deacon (Sean Kanan) arrived at his wife’s side, grateful she was alive and would soon be on the mend. He was not impressed that Sheila defended Luna, though. Sheila told him it was all nothing but an accident and her granddaughter was paying the price for her actions.

Miraculous Saves

As for Luna, Bridget (Ashley Jones) and Li (Naomi Matsuda) worked tirelessly to bring her back from the brink of death. And, their efforts paid off. They managed to get Luna’s bleeder under control and take the bullet out of her. Li and Bridget were relieved with their small victory. But, even though they gave the young lady a second chance, Bridget reminded Li it wasn’t much of one. Outside, the police were just waiting for her to wake up so they could arrest her. With that, Bridget left and Li hung behind to care for her niece.

Down the hall, Finn (Tanner Novlan) struggled to save Liam (Scott Clifton). Much like his mom, he, too, made a miraculous save. He was able extract the bullet from Liam’s chest and get his vitals back on track. Finn was pleased with his work and was all smiles after putting in the final stitch. He was sure he did enough to help Liam survive this trauma.

Liam’s Fighting For His Life

Meanwhile, in the hallway, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) rushed to Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) side. She told them all about the horror at the Beach House. He was shot saving her and in an extra act of heroism, he was the one who took out Luna. To say the couple was shocked is an understatement. She then took them up with her to the observation window where they prayed for him to pull through.

After the operation, Finn went to greet Steffy and Hope to give them the news. Yes, Liam is safe…but the next few hours and days mattered. Liam was stable but still very much critical. They went to see Liam in recovery where Hope made an impassioned speech begging him to come back to them. They were losing enough time with the brain tumor, they didn’t need to lose more.

Luna Is Gone

Later, Poppy (Romy Park) arrived just in time to catch Li coming out after being with Luna. Li delivered the bombshell news that Luna made it out of surgery…but she didn’t make it out of the recovery room. Luna succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Much to everyone’s absolute shock, Poppy wasn’t upset. In fact, her response was “Good. I’m glad Luna is dead.”
