It was a busy week in Los Angeles, and The Bold and the Beautiful recap for September 9 – 13 reveals the details of returning to the Forrester versus Logan war and the continued fallout of Luna’s crime spree.
A dehydrated Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) spent time at home with the kids after her ordeal in the cage. Kelly (Sophia Paras Mckinlay) expressed how happy she was to have her mom back. Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) arrived and were beyond grateful that Finn saved Steffy. Later, Poppy (Romy Park) and Li (Naomi Matsuda) showed up at Finn and Steffy’s place. A broken Poppy apologized to Steffy for everything that Luna (Lisa Yamada) had done.
Meanwhile, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) expressed their gratitude that Steffy was okay. More importantly, Hope mentioned to her mom that she was in awe of how Finn never gave up on Steffy and, once again, called him a good man. This triggered Brooke. She needed to know if Hope’s feelings for Finn were starting to reemerge. Hope insisted that Finn and Steffy had nothing to worry about.

Also, at Forrester, Katie (Heather Tom) and Will (Crew Morrow) checked in to see if Bill (Don Diamont) was okay. Will wanted to know about his mom’s feelings for his dad. Katie admitted to her son that she’d been able to forgive Bill for his past wrongdoings. Meanwhile, at Bill’s mansion, Liam (Scott Clifton) wanted his dad to open up about what he had just experienced. Instead, Bill wanted to move on.
Finally, Poppy showed up at Bill’s while Finn apologized to Steffy for setting this all in motion with that Hope kiss. Steffy said he was always there when she needed him and marveled at how nothing could tear them apart. After all, their love is strong and forever.
Eric (John McCook) threw a family party for Steffy. Steffy assured everybody she was okay, that she was glad to be home, and that she had a clean bill of health. She recapped the sordid events of what Luna did and how Poppy never really knew her own daughter.
At Bill’s, Poppy was sorry she put him through hell. Bill didn’t let her blame herself, that Luna was disturbed. Poppy felt she should have been a different kind of mother. To learn that Luna had all these resentments, she wanted to know what she did to turn her daughter into someone who could harm so many people.
Poppy told Bill she would spend more time with Li and that she had been helping her. While she said he was remarkable and that she loved him more than ever, this conversation felt like an ending. Time will tell if that’s true.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) eventually arrived at Eric’s get-together. Steffy requested his presence, especially since he had lost two friends because of Luna. Steffy revealed to Zende (Delon de Metz) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) that Zende never took advantage of Luna, that Luna took advantage of him.
This revelation caused Brooke to apologize for taking a hard stance with Zende. RJ also apologized, and the two hugged. While Taylor observed, Hope talked to Finn and told him he was a true hero. The entire party celebrated Finn stepping up to be Steffy’s hero. His wife told him he was the strongest, bravest man she knew as Hope looked on.
Steffy and Taylor continued to reconnect, this time at Forrester. Steffy guessed that her mom would be sticking around. Although Taylor confessed that she didn’t know where she fit into her family’s lives. The conversation then turned to Hope and Finn and how Hope was becoming her mother. Steffy didn’t want Taylor to worry. She had it handled.
Hope, on the other hand, predicted that now that Steffy was back at work, she would get back to gunning for her. Brooke advised her to focus on her line. She didn’t want her daughter to get hurt. An exasperated Hope said she didn’t want to be that person who goes after another woman’s man.
At the hospital, Liam apologized to Finn for giving him a hard time after their last conversation. He thanked him for saving Steffy. He admitted he was wrong that Steffy took time off, but he ultimately made the right call when he knew
Katie and Will visited with Bill to see how he was doing. He wished he had seen Luna’s red flags. Will questioned Poppy’s actions and told his dad to be more careful. However, he was glad that his dad appreciated his mom. Bill expressed his love and again called her his guardian angel.

Later, Taylor and Brooke confronted each other. Taylor was sick of her daughter’s relationship being tested. When Brooke agreed, the doctor claimed she was surprised. After all, Hope behaved inappropriately, and Steffy’s safety didn’t seem to be a priority for the Logans. Finally, she warned her nemesis that Hope’s behavior wasn’t rational. That Brooke needed to put her on notice and tell her to stay away from Finn.
Hope and Steffy also confronted each other. Hope was glad the Forrester CEO was safe, but Steffy was all business. She brought up Hope for the Future and how it needed to perform better. Eventually, Steffy admonished Hope, saying she was wrong to kiss Finn, and told her to stay away from her husband or she would regret it.
The two Wednesday confrontations continued with Steffy telling Hope she won’t let her become like her mother. Hope apologized for what she did, but she won’t let her denigrate her mom. This conversation ended with Hope wanting to put everything behind them. Unfortunately, Steffy had other goals. She told Hope she won’t forgive or forget. In fact, she needed to accept this new reality where she had nothing to do with Finn.
Meanwhile, Taylor wanted Brooke to take her daughter’s inappropriate behavior seriously. The psychiatrist was concerned about Hope after her romance with Steffy’s brother and now kissed her daughter’s husband. She sounded convinced Hope was targeting Steffy.
At the hospital, Li updated Finn about the situation with Poppy. That she was staying with her now. Finn was proud of his mother for being there for her sister. Li assured her son that whatever happened, her sister will never lose her. Not when she had lost so much — her daughter and maybe even Bill.

At Bill’s, Poppy faced Katie, who was still there. Katie apologized to Poppy. After all, she made the false accusations that got Poppy arrested. Katie said she didn’t blame Poppy and that she was wrong about her. Poppy responded that she didn’t owe her anything. But she also put Katie on notice. She still loved Bill, and he knew that. She made it sound that she still wanted a life with him. And that she, of course, knew Katie would be happier if Poppy were out of the picture.
Steffy told Taylor she thought Brooke probably encouraged Hope going after Finn. Taylor wasn’t so sure. When Finn arrived at Forrester, Steffy waxed poetic about their story not being over despite the challenges of Sheila and Luna.
In the other office, Brooke told Hope she didn’t like Steffy’s holier-than-thou attitude. And Hope had no time for Steffy in attack mode. She said maybe she wasn’t sorry for kissing Finn. Brooke refused to believe that she meant that. But Hope said she cared about Finn…as a friend. And didn’t want him to be with someone who couldn’t appreciate him.
Ridge and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) interrupted Finn and Steffy’s moment of gratitude to discuss Hope’s line. They told Finn and Taylor not to go anywhere. Carter ran some early projections, but they weren’t good. Over in the other office, Brooke told Hope not to fall in love with another woman’s husband. Hope said she understood her mistake, but Brooke didn’t want her daughter to make the same mistakes she made.
At Il Giardino, Will and Liam recapped the Luna situation. Liam wanted to check in with Will and see if he was doing okay. They ended up talking about Katie and Bill and their chances for a reunion, despite the fact that Bill put Katie through bad times. Will said if Bill can treat her the way she should be treated, he’s good with that.

Katie was still at Bill’s. She downloaded him on her conversation with Poppy. Bill appreciated Katie, gave her a string of compliments, and wanted to know if she was happy. It was important to him that she was. She responded positively, especially now that Will was home. Bill reminded her that with their son, they are a beautiful family.
Brooke and Hope wanted to know why Finn and Taylor were in the room. When the conversation turned to Hope for the Future, it turned out the numbers hadn’t gone up at all. Ridge felt they’d given her enough time to get them up. Hope said she understood the stakes. At the end of the episode, she wanted to know the truth. Are they cutting Hope for the Future?
