At Bill’s (Don Diamont), Finn (Tanner Novlan) worried about Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) disappearance, sensing something was wrong. Bill showed, and they discussed that Luna (Lisa Yamada) wasn’t Bill’s daughter. Bill explained that despite the shock, he couldn’t kick her out, especially given her recent troubles. When Finn mentioned getting a strange vibe from Luna, Bill reluctantly admitted that Luna had kissed him twice, which was out of character. Bill suggested that Luna’s behavior might be due to the stress from recent events, including Poppy’s (Romy Park) arrest. Finn received a notification from a walkie-talkie app he and Steffy used and realized Steffy’s phone was still in town, indicating she hadn’t left voluntarily. Finn said Steffy was missing and asked Bill to watch Luna before rushing out.
Meanwhile, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tried contacting Steffy unsuccessfully, while R.J. (Joshua Hoffman) tried to reassure him. They both agreed that Steffy enjoyed ordering them around and being a part of the company.
Elsewhere, Luna paced, and a caged and desperate Steffy begged her for help. Luna revealed her darker side, admitting to Steffy that she had killed Tom and Hollis because they stood in the way of her plans to win over Bill Spencer. Luna confessed that her recent night with Zende (Delon De Metz) was part of her scheme to manipulate him and that she wasn’t as innocent as she appeared. Despite Steffy’s pleas, Luna remained determined to carry out her plan, intending to live at the Spencer estate while leaving Steffy to die in the cage.

At Finn’s office, he discussed his concerns with Li (Naomi Matsuda). He suspected Luna might be involved in Steffy’s disappearance and shared his observations about Luna’s strange behavior, including romantic interest in Bill. Finn said he had a sick feeling that Luna was connected to Steffy’s vanishing. At the same time, increasingly weak Steffy continued to beg Luna to release her from the cage, but Luna didn’t care.

At the hospital, Finn told Li that Steffy never made it to the wellness center, and he suspected Luna’s somehow caused her disappearance. He mentioned seeing Luna at Bill’s and noted that she seemed to want to be the new woman in Bill’s life. Despite Li reminding him that Luna was his cousin, Finn couldn’t ignore the possibility that she was involved, especially since Luna had kissed Bill.
Li didn’t believe Luna would try to kiss Bill and doubted Luna could be a killer. Finn insisted that Luna had changed and might be involved in Steffy’s disappearance. He found Steffy’s phone at Bill’s place and believed Luna could be the key to finding his wife.
At the apartment, Luna confronted Steffy. They recapped Luna’s murders of Tom and Hollis, which Luna justified as eliminating problems, including the complications from the paternity test. Luna was confident she would maintain her place in Bill’s life.
Meanwhile, RJ visited Bill, concerned about Luna’s recent behavior. He felt something was off and couldn’t understand why she hadn’t contacted him. Bill admitted that Luna was in an emotional tailspin, especially after learning Bill wasn’t her father, but he still wanted to help her. RJ was afraid that Luna was about to break.
Back at the apartment, Luna tried to force Steffy to drink water, but Steffy refused, fearing it was drugged. Steffy begged Luna to let her go, promising to help her and keep her out of trouble. Luna, however, accused Steffy of lying and refused to release her.

Later, Finn found RJ in the design office and asked him for details about the night Tom was killed. RJ remembered they were at the office but realized they hadn’t left together. Finn told him that Luna was living with Bill and might be responsible for Tom’s and Hollis’ deaths, as well as Steffy’s possible abduction, which shocked RJ.
A desperate Steffy called out for Finn in the apartment, and Luna walked into the design office, surprised to find Finn waiting for her.

At Forrester Creations, Finn surprised Luna in the design office. He told her he was about Steffy because she was missing. Luna tried to reassure him, saying Steffy had just gone out of town, but Finn revealed that Steffy hadn’t arrived at her wellness retreat in France. Luna tried to evade his questions, and Finn was suspicious of her.
Meanwhile, at the cliff house, Ridge and Taylor worried about Steffy’s disappearance and debated whether to involve the police. They recalled Steffy’s strength and resilience but they were worried that something was wrong with their daughter.

In the apartment, Steffy reassured herself she was safe and urged Finn to chase after Luna, but he insisted on taking her to the hospital first. Downstairs, Li confronted Luna, accusing her of murder and kidnapping Steffy. Luna tried to escape, but Li blocked her path. She wanted her niece to go to prison.
At Bill’s place, he told Katie (Heather Tom) that he didn’t believe that Poppy could commit murder, despite the overwhelming evidence. Katie reminded him of Poppy’s criminal actions, but Bill still had doubts. Later, Bill got a call, and it confirmed Poppy’s innocence, which surprised Katie.
Meanwhile, Luna told Li that she had faked a paternity test and committed the murders to protect her life with Bill. Just as she tried to escape, Li stopped her, and Deputy Chief Baker (Dan Martin) arrived to arrest her.
Back at the apartment, Finn released Steffy from the cage, and they hugged. At the police station, Bill told Poppy she was being released. Why? Because the real killer, Luna, was caught. Poppy was overwhelmed with relief.
Finally, Finn and Steffy went home. They talked, and she chose to stay with him, grateful for his love and rescue. They reaffirmed their deep connection.

Meanwhile, at the jail, Poppy hugged Bill, thrilled at the news of her release. She turned to Luna, expecting to leave with her and Bill, but was shocked to see Luna in handcuffs. Confused, Poppy demanded answers, only to learn that Luna was responsible for the murders of Hollis and Tom.
At Forrester, Taylor and Ridge worried about Steffy until Finn called with the news that she was safe. Steffy informed them that Luna had kidnapped her and promised to explain everything later. After hanging up, Finn reassured Steffy he would never leave her side again.
Back at the police station, Poppy begged Luna to deny the accusations. Luna tearfully confessed to the murders, falsifying a paternity test, and kidnapping Steffy. Poppy told the police to take Luna away.
