The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for September 26 – September 30, 2022, feature several close calls, serious accusations, a seemingly bare-faced lie, and vacation plans made.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) threatens, nay promises, Brooke Logan Forrester that she’ll never again have the opportunity to interfere with his father’s life, or the family’s business… Brooke voices her concerns about Thomas to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle); to the former, she expresses a resolve to phone Child Protective Services if the situation warrants it… Thomas relays his confrontation with Brooke, and her concerns over his handling a knife in Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) presence, to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen); she poo-poos Brooke’s concern.
Genoa City socialite Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) meets with Eric Forrester (John McCook), Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Hope and gets a sneak peek at the gown she customed ordered for her granddaughter. Nikki and the assemblage reflect on Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) reigns of terror in both GC and Los Angeles.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) once again warns Sheila to temper her enthusiasm where a reunion with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and her grandson is concerned… When Deacon departs for a prearranged meeting with Nikki, Sheila dons her disguise and shadows him. Nikki collects what was promised her — proof that her hometown rival has been less than forthcoming about her not to distant past — and catches sight of Sheila; no connection seems to be made.
Taylor and Steffy confer, and come to the conclusion that Brooke is purposefully stirring the pot where Thomas is concerned; this, they believe, will be her undoing… Brooke recalls Thomas’s use of the knife around Douglas; Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is perturbed, but Hope wants to give Thomas the benefit of the doubt… Ridge and Thomas discuss the incident and Brooke’s threat to involve CPS; Ridge promises his son that nobody will take Douglas away from him… Representatives from CPS descend on the Forrester manse.
Hope works to soothe both Brooke and Liam’s concerns about Thomas… After speaking with Douglas, and Thomas, and being handed the much-maligned knife, the CPS officers are mollified… Ridge phones Brooke and asks if she was the one who phoned the agency.
Brooke denies being the one who voiced her concerns to CPS. Thomas is aghast that Ridge accepts his wife’s version of events. Thomas contacts Walter, a former Forrester Creations employee who now works in the social services field. Against his better judgment, Walter plays the recorded tip-off; the caller identifies themself as Brooke Logan!
A discontented Taylor considers upping sticks… Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) makes plans to divest his villa in Aspen and offers Steffy the right of first refusal. Steffy suggests to Taylor that the two of them decamp to the address.
Brooke and Liam ponder the identity of the CPS tipster and Thomas’s motives for keeping Douglas close at hand; Liam is certain that Thomas plans to make a play for Hope… Steffy implores Taylor to put up a fight for Ridge, but Taylor declines — she doesn’t want to wreck Ridge’s home, whether it’s a happy one or not… Steffy alerts Ridge and Thomas to her and Taylor’s plan to visit Bill’s abode in Aspen. Steffy and Thomas both push Ridge to pursue Taylor.
