Brooke gave Ridge what he deserved!
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for January 6 – 10 covers a scandalous week in Los Angeles. Steffy schemed, Brooke gave Ridge what he deserved, Ridge turned the tables and slept with Taylor, and so, so much more!

In the Forrester mansion, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) assured Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that she would convince Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to return control of the company to him, but she couldn’t address it immediately due to his closeness to Taylor (Rebecca Budig). Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) believed Ridge would not forgive Brooke and saw a silver lining in Taylor spending more time with her father.
At Bill’s (Don Diamont) place, Luna (Lisa Yamada) was relieved to be out of jail, now under house arrest, and Bill explained he wanted to provide her with stability and a safe home. When Will (Crew Morrow) arrived with Electra (Laneya Grace), Luna observed from upstairs.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Brooke tried to explain her loyalty to Ridge by taking the CEO position, but he accused her of betrayal for not denouncing Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter. Ridge felt Brooke was manipulated by her daughter and was now aligned with the enemy. Brooke defended herself, but Ridge insisted their relationship couldn’t be repaired. In a tense moment, Brooke slapped him and stormed out, telling him she was done. As she left, she shoved Taylor, who had just arrived, leaving both women stunned.
At the Forrester mansion, Steffy and Eric (John McCook) were shocked to hear that Brooke slapped Ridge and almost knocked over Taylor. Steffy believed Brooke’s excuse of becoming CEO to help them was nonsense, while Eric felt she should have left when they did. Ridge expressed his anger, accusing Brooke of betraying them.
Meanwhile, Hope and Carter discussed their new perfume line at Forrester, with Fanny (Elsa Esnoult) returning to help. Fanny was excited to collaborate with the company, but things took a turn when Carter learned Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire), a renowned perfumer from Paris, was in the building.
At Bill’s, Luna, still adjusting to her house arrest, overheard Bill and Will talking about Daphne Rose’s visit. After Bill left, Luna reflected on her situation, while Electra and Will grew closer, with Electra admitting Will was her hero.
Back at Forrester, Hope and Carter were impressed by Daphne’s scent, aptly named Forrester, which they decided to use. As for Daphne, she landed at the cliff house, where she and Steffy plotted their next move. She planned to return to Forrester, pretending to protect her assets but secretly aiming to take down Hope and Carter…all while Daphne hinted at using her charms to manipulate Carter.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric expressed his displeasure with Brooke’s actions, including taking the CEO position and slapping Ridge. Taylor, meanwhile, believed Brooke’s actions stemmed from hurt and suggested they blame Hope, for the situation.
Over at the office, Brooke confessed to Hope that she slapped Ridge after he turned to Taylor, leaving her feeling like a stranger. Hope expressed her concerns about Ridge feeling insecure over Brooke’s leadership at Forrester. It wasn’t all doom and gloom, though. Brooke heard the wonderful news about Daphne and approved the fragrance line.
At the cliff house, Daphne confirmed she’s got the gig after speaking with Carter. Steffy and Daphne strategize to take down Carter and Hope, with Steffy believing that Carter was already charmed by Daphne. Steffy then reflects on the changes and makes sure Brooke stays out of her father’s life.
Later, Ridge and Taylor discussed the situation, with Ridge expressing frustration over the changes at Forrester. He thanked Taylor for her support, and they shared a moment of closeness.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge poured champagne for himself and Taylor, expressing his desire to focus on her rather than discussing Hope, Carter, or Brooke. He surprised her with a special garment—a Forrester Original he had created before being ousted from the company—and asked her to wear it for their evening. Taylor sensed his sincerity and appreciated his effort to show her how much she meant to him.
Meanwhile, at Forrester, Brooke confided in Hope about her heartbreak over Ridge turning to Taylor so quickly. Hope expressed sympathy but defended her partnership with Carter, emphasizing their vision for the company despite the Forresters’ objections. Brooke lamented the division within the family and the business, struggling to feel motivated as Ridge remained with Taylor.
Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan) enjoyed a romantic evening at the cliff house. Steffy revealed her plan to use Daphne Rose, a renowned perfumier, to disrupt Carter and Hope’s alliance and reclaim control of Forrester Creations. Finn expressed his support while acknowledging the challenges ahead.
As the evening unfolded, Taylor donned the elegant gown Ridge had given her, and the two shared a catered dinner. Ridge toasted to their family and the bond they shared. At the same time, Steffy updated Finn on her parents’ romantic evening, expressing hope for their future together. Ridge and Taylor concluded their evening by slow-dancing and sharing a heartfelt kiss, reaffirming their connection. Elsewhere, Brooke reflected on her separation from Ridge and struggled to accept that he had chosen Taylor over her.
Finn and Steffy spent a quiet evening discussing their parents at the cliff house. Steffy expressed her relief that her mother, Taylor, was back and hoped that Ridge would recognize that she was the one he truly belonged with.
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor thanked Ridge for the beautiful gown he had given her. They shared a romantic evening, dancing, kissing, and expressing how much their time together meant to her. Taylor felt alive in the moment, enjoying the deep connection with Ridge.
Meanwhile, Brooke confided in Katie, venting her frustration over Ridge’s quick return to Taylor. She admitted to slapping Ridge in anger and having a heated confrontation with Taylor, her emotions raw as she struggled with the growing distance between her and Ridge.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Ridge and Taylor continued their evening, talking about their future together. Their connection deepened as they kissed, unaware that Donna had quietly arrived and was observing them. Donna overheard their conversation about possibly moving in together, leaving her to reflect on the changes in their lives. She promptly delivered the shocking news to her sister. At the same time, Ridge and Taylor made love.
