The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, April 21 sees Finn confirm Steffy’s worst fears about Liam…Kelly’s father is dying.
What Happened on B&B
At the cliff house, Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) heart shattered behind a brave smile. As Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay) twirled around in her pretty dress and asked for a photo, her mom obliged—but Steffy’s eyes betrayed the storm brewing inside.
Liam (Scott Clifton) soaked in every moment with his daughter. They danced, laughed, and took silly selfies. But the entire time, Steffy silently reeled from the text Finn (Tanner Novlan) sent—Liam has an inoperable brain tumor.
When Liam got dizzy, Steffy kept up appearances, but her tears fell as Kelly asked why she was crying. “Just watching you and your daddy,” she whispered. Liam, ever the optimist, told his daughter there was nothing to worry about and assured her he never wanted to let her go. Steffy quietly texted Finn to come home.

Liam’s Diagnosis
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Finn pressed Bridget (Ashley Jones) and Grace (Cassandra Creech) for answers. The diagnosis was devastating—an inoperable mass they missed while treating Liam’s brain bleed. Though he seemed stable, Liam’s time was limited.
Bridget and Grace agreed it wasn’t fair. It was especially hard to see something like this in someone so young, with children like Liam’s, who would now lose their father.
Reminiscing
Back at the Forrester mansion, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) talked after he got off the phone about the fashion show. They shared a sweet moment looking at photos of Kelly in her dress, reminiscing about fatherhood and how much Liam loved his girls. They praised Liam’s dedication to Kelly and Steffy and marveled at the love that still defined that unconventional family.
When Finn finally arrived at the cliff house, Liam was tucked in next to Kelly, reading a bedtime story—until the words blurred and he couldn’t go on. Kelly asked if something was wrong.
Outside, Finn gave Steffy the brutal truth: the scans were clear. There was no cure. There might be treatments to ease his pain, but Liam was dying. Steffy sobbed, “Don’t say this.” But Finn couldn’t soften the blow. The end had already begun.
