The Bold and the Beautiful recap for February 20 saw Finn put Poppy in her place, Liam whined about his life, and Bill reminded Luna that she’s a lucky little lady.
What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?
Finn (Tanner Novlan) was at the office, mentally preparing himself to ruin his wife’s evening, when Poppy (Romy Park) stormed in, ready to plead her case one last time. But Finn wasn’t in the mood for her antics. Before she could get a word in, he hit her with a bombshell – he was spilling the truth that night, no matter what.
Poppy, ever the manipulator, pointed out that he still hadn’t done it yet, suggesting his subconscious was screaming at him to shut up and let this one slide. Finn was not amused. He made it abundantly clear that Poppy had been wrong then, was wrong now, and would probably be wrong for the foreseeable future.
When that failed, Poppy tried another angle – Luna (Lisa Yamada) mysteriously vanished from the prison system. Wasn’t that a sign to keep things quiet? Finn didn’t buy it. Sure, he knew telling the truth would shatter his entire life and possibly his marriage, but secrets? Secrets were even worse. He was a man of principle, and if that principle happened to nuke his relationship, so be it. With that, he shoved past Poppy and marched home, determined to break Steffy’s heart in real time.

Liam Had a Case of the Lonely Boy Blues
Meanwhile, over at the Cliff House, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy were playing nice while sorting out their co-parenting schedule. It was all sunshine and rainbows until Liam started unloading his personal problems. He reminisced about nearly losing Steffy thanks to Luna (as if she needed a reminder), and then segued into his current sad-boy era. Bill had pulled back from work, his love life was a barren wasteland, and, to top it off, the only person who remembered his birthday was Wyatt (Darin Brooks). The injustice!
But fear not, because Steffy, being the sweetheart she is, saved the day. Before Liam left, she presented him with a single, solitary cookie…with a candle. A cookie candle! A birthday miracle! He made a wish (probably for better storylines), and with that, he was out the door.
House Arrest Shenanigans
Over at Casa de Confinement, Luna and Bill (Don Diamont) were melting in the summer heat, bound together by an ankle monitor and mutual regret. To pass the time, they played a game that mostly consisted of Bill reminding Luna that house arrest was a whole lot better than actual prison. Silver linings, right? Luna, still reeling from the life-altering disaster she had caused, expressed her endless gratitude for Bill swooping in and saving her from a jumpsuit and a jail cell. Whether she actually learned her lesson remained to be seen.
The Calm Before The Storm
Back at the Cliff House, Steffy was in a great mood, dancing around and fully unaware that her world was about to implode. Finn walked in, kissed his wife, and immediately started sweating bullets. Telling Steffy the truth was easy in theory, but actually doing it? That was an entirely different beast.
