B&B Spoilers Recap For September 28: Ridge Asks Brooke If She Called CPS On Thomas

B&B spoilers recap for September 28, 2022, tease that Ridge Forrester has a big question for Brooke Logan Forrester, and that their future may hinge on her answer.

B&B Spoilers Recap Highlights

Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) went to the latter’s home to talk instead of staying at the office. Brooke noted she felt sorry for Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri), trapped with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) at the Forrester mansion.

Hope reiterated that if she thought Douglas was in danger, she’d step in. However, Brooke continued to insist that Douglas was in danger due to the knife. She pointed out that Douglas wants to be just like his dad, and she said that the other adults in the household are so focused on building up Thomas that they wouldn’t notice the warning signs.

Liam sided with his mother-in-law, and then Hope relented and said she’d talk with Thomas since Brooke was so upset about it. However, Brooke pointed out all the things Thomas did in the past, but Hope said Thomas was doing better, which is what they’d all wanted. Liam noted that they don’t get to go over to see Douglas at the Forresters — only Hope gets to go and see what’s happening.

Hope finally stood up for herself and reminded everybody that she was Douglas’s mother, and she is good at it. However, Brooke tried to give her daughter parenting lessons, reminding Hope of how vigilant you must be with children. Brooke insinuated that Thomas is not vigilant like that with Douglas when Hope isn’t around.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Child Protective Services

At the Forrester mansion, both Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Thomas questioned the need for Child Protective Services to visit with Douglas. Ultimately, they allowed them to speak with the little boy, to ensure Douglas was okay. They talked to Douglas about playing chess. Then they asked Douglas about his schoolwork and other things he did, and they wanted to know if he felt safe there. Douglas couldn’t imagine why he’d feel unsafe there with his dad, grandpa, a pool, and tennis courts.

After Douglas went upstairs, the people from CPS told Thomas that they’d heard about the incident with a knife. Thomas said there wasn’t a “knife incident.” But after they asked to see the pocket knife, Thomas left to get it, and Ridge defended his son as a good father. Thomas handed over his pocket knife and told CPS to keep it.

Satisfied, the CPS agents left, and Ridge said they had to ensure the visit didn’t end up on Thomas’s permanent record. Then Ridge declared that whoever made the call had made a big mistake. Ridge called Brooke, and asked her if she’d called CPS on Thomas. He said he was furious that his son and his grandson had to go through all that in their own home.

B&B Spoilers Recap: Couple Time

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Zende Forrester (Delon De Metz), and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) were at Forrester Creations. Finn (Tanner Novlan) walked in, and he asked Steffy a few questions about what was going on with Thomas and Douglas. She said she didn’t want to talk in front of Zende and Paris, but ultimately, they pointed out that they wanted the drama between the Logans and Forresters to stop.

Then, Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) came in, and they left, and Finn told Charlie that nobody should come into the office until they heard otherwise. It took Charlie a moment, and then he understood, leaving Steffy and Finn with a few moments alone. Finn asked Steffy how she was doing, and then she told him how frustrated she was with Brooke. She complained about how selfish and toxic Brooke is and always has been. Finn said her family was so lucky to have her in their corner fighting for them against Brooke.
