In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for October 6, 2023, viewers were treated to a further update concerning blank slate Luna.

In addition, Ridge got the wrong end of the stick, Eric continued to hide his worsening symptoms, and Deacon and Sheila’s news blindsided Finn. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
B&B Recap: The Plot Thickens
At Forrester Creations, Luna (Lisa Yamada) comforted RJ (Joshua Hoffman) when he relayed Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) confession that something more than arthritis ails Eric (John McCook). She said staying positive would help bolster Eric’s situation, and she praised RJ for what he was doing to help his grandfather.
When RJ stepped outside to deal with some orders, a reluctant Luna took a call from her frantic mother, who insisted that she needed to leave FC right away. She doesn’t belong there. It’s not right. Aunt Li (Naomi Matsuda) won’t let her keep the job, and Finn (Tanner Novlan) won’t take too kindly to it either.

Poppy (Romy Park) warned that it would all come crashing down very soon, but Luna wasn’t moved. She wouldn’t leave. She hung up crying, and RJ returned, asking what was happening.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Against All Odds
Across the hall, Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) gave one another what for — who knew you could get so much mileage out of a debate between French silk and jewel tones — and Ridge concluded that he had nothing to whatsoever to worry about. His pops was at the top of his game. Maybe better than he ever was.

Meanwhile, Donna took Eric to task for his dark humor — particularly his joke about “time running out.” Eric insisted that he was going to “live until he dies” and he was going to rely on his humor and his lady love. (And to drive home the point that he might die in the near future, Eric secretly coughed up another handful of blood.)
B&B Recap: The Ties That Bind
After telling Hope (Annika Noelle) that she could do better than Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) — and apparently giving her ideas about the two of them getting involved — Finn (Tanner Novlan) responded to Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) summons.
Deacon explained his news involved Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), which didn’t exactly put Finn at ease…nor did Deacon’s declaration that he could ensure that Sheila would never be an issue ever again.
Sheila appeared, cozied up to Deacon, and made it clear that they were an item, which horrified Finn. Sheila hoped her son could be happy for them. Finn didn’t appear too sure.
