The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, April 8, saw Steffy sticking close to Liam’s side, Finn in a panic, and Deacon attacking Carter.

What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?

Ridge was at the office touting Zende and Daphne Rose’s great work. Zende brought up Hope as the only one to be punished. It all came down to accountability, reminded Ridge and Daphne Rose. Carter and Brooke admitted their faults; Hope was still railing against it and acting like the victim instead of the villain. If only she had taken accountability, then things may have worked out in her favor. But, for now, what’s done and done? Hope is no longer welcome in the building, and her line is on the shelf.

Meanwhile, Across the hall, things got tense between Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Deacon slung insults and accusations as Carter tried to defend himself. The longer they talked, the angrier Deacon got.

It wasn’t long before things went way, way too far, and tempers ran red hot. So much so that Deacon began to rage out and throw hands. All it took was Carter pointing out that Deacon was the first man in Hope’s (Annika Noelle) life to disappoint her. and Deacon began kicking and punching. It was a Royal Rumble right there in the design room as both men went on the attack. Thankfully, they were interrupted by Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) before too much blood was drawn!

A Reality Check

Back at the Logan estate, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was home moping about Hope right before she walked through the door and started giving her the cold shoulder. Brooke managed to get Hope to open up about her feelings towards Carter and the betrayal.  She thought they were happy. She thought Carter was her perfect match. But, his choosing the Forresters over her showed her all she needed to know. Brooke not so gently pointed out that Hope was expecting Carter to give up his whole life for her and how that wasn’t fair.

Liam Isn’t Out of the Woods Yet

Over at the hospital, Steffy was still by Liam’s beside, holding things down…alone. Grace (Cassandra Creech) took Liam (Scott Clifton) through a series of questions to get a sense of his mental status. He knew how he was but not where he was or how he got there. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) patiently explained to him that he had a head injury and things were serious. Of course, Liam had questions, mainly why Steffy was there. Grace explained that it was Steffy who found him and that it was a good thing she did because otherwise, Liam wouldn’t be here right now.

Finn was at the hospital (unaware that Liam was in the ER). Li (Naomi Matsuda) came in and Finn worried to her that Liam and Steffy were radio silent. Where are they? It wasn’t like them to go quiet and it especially wasn’t like them to not show up for Kelly. He was starting to worry something was very, very wrong. Obviously, he was very, very right about that.
