The Bold and the Beautiful recap for April 7 saw a day of tears, anguish, and hope as Liam fought for his life and Steffy stuck right by his side.
What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?
Liam’s (Scott Clifton) condition worsened by the minute as his brain began to swell. Try as she might, Dr. Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) couldn’t get his vitals under control. It wasn’t long before she whisked him into the operating room to alleviate the pressure on his brain. When all was said and done, though, Liam remained comatose, and Grace warned Steffy that Liam wasn’t out of the woods. Not yet, at least. He HAD TO open his eyes soon, or there was a risk he would never recover.
Poor Steffy took to her ex-husband’s beside to beg him to come back around (instead of calling for help or support). She tried a sea of tears, pleading with Liam to fight for his life. Thankfully, it wasn’t long before she got her miracle. Slowly but surely, Liam began to come around. A grunt here, a squeak there, and squeezed Stefy’s hand tight and opened his eyes. Steffy was so overjoyed she nearly became unraveled, and it led her to relive all their best moments.

Meanwhile, Finn (Tanner Novlan) was at home with Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay) talking about the daddy daughter dance and bonding over their own special connection. Kelly kept a brave face on and tried to keep things light but every passing minute worried the little girl. Where, oh where, were her mom and dad? Finn sent out texts and calls but the silence was deafening.
No Hope
Over at Forrester Creations, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was treated to an earful by Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)…and later also Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). They were upset Hope was let go, especially after the Forresters promised Carter she’d be protected. Well, sorry all, Hope isn’t welcome at the office. Not on Ridge’s watch. They were generous in keeping Carter and Brooke, but they only did so because they understood the coup was wrong. Hope, on the other hand…she still thinks she was right. Therefore she would never be allowed back in the building again.
As for Hope, she was at Il Giardino griping to her father. Deacon (Sean Kanan) offered all his love and support as he heard her out. When talk turned to Carter, Hope admitted she still loves him. A lot. However, watching him kiss Daphne Rose and then throwing her under the bus with the Forresters devastated her. Deacon fumed over the multiple betrayals.
Deacon decided it was high time for a man-to-man talk with the man who ruined his daughter’s life. He headed to Forrester Creations where he aprupty stormed into the design room to corner Carter. As this was happening, carter and Hope were both reminiscing about how things between them went from love to hate.
