The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, April 28, saw the Forrester Creations team claim victory as the couture line…and the showstopper…was all anyone could talk about.

What Happened Today On Bold and the Beautiful?

The magic of the runway continued, but this time without the models. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) met up with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) on the stage to discuss her impact on the fashion show. He was blown away – not only by her but by that Portofino showstopper gown. They weren’t alone long, though. Before they knew it, the press was there with praise…and a whole lot of questions. One of which being if they’d see that gown walking down a different kind of aisle.

Not so pleased were Taylor (Rebecca Herbst) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Taylor updated her daughter with all the pre-show drama and how Brooke nearly missed her moment. Too bad she didn’t because they were upset to find out she was working the press with Ridge. They rushed into the showroom to interrupt. But, by then, it was too late. Ridge and Brooke were gone and Steffy got to spend time with the press…and to complain to Katie about Brooke stealing the show (and Ridge’s attention).

The Woman Of The Hour

Meanwhile, back at the office, Eric (John McCook) was over the moon about the Forrester family’s return to the spotlight. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) was as well. And, they beamed even more than Genoa City’s own Christine (Lauralee Bell) came in to congratulate everyone – and make a preorder. Oh, and give them the permissions to use Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) music for Brooke’s Bedroom line.

Soon after, they were joined by Zende (Delon de Metz), Brooke, Ridge, Steffy, and Taylor. Of course, Steffy had a few things to say about that showstopper moment but she was promptly put in her place by her granddad. This was Eric’s plan and it worked. In fact, it worked better than he ever imagined. No one is talking about that pesky takeover anymore. They’re talking about the legacy of the fashion house…and Brooke and Ridge’s legacy.

Before heading out with his wife, Eric made sure Brooke felt the love (and she did. She even told Eric she was sure their plan to get Ridge back in her arms was working. Down the hall, Taylor was doing all she could to keep Ridge’s eyes all on her. He swore he was all about Taylor while he kissed her, but once she left the room, all he could think about was his ex-wife.

The Winning Team

At the same time, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) used the show’s success to flirt it up with Carter and pull him in for a sultry kiss. A kiss that Katie (Heather Tom) just so happened to see. Soon after, Ridge turned up to share in the excitement and invite Carter to celebrate with the family. He even admitted that Carter made the company stronger and he was happy to share this moment with him. Later, Zende checked in with Carter and updated him about Eric choosing the showstopper. He also joked that he should stay out of the main office while the fireworks were going down.

All the while, Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will (Crew Morrow) shared a cozy moment before being interrupted by Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer). Now was not the time to be alone. Now was the time to celebrate as an entire time – the way the Forresters always do. Oh, and celebrate they did…with Spencer and Heidi Pratt. The reality stars were enthralled with the company’s designs and even took a few pics with the jewels.
