The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, April 10 saw Liam’s condition remaining remaining stable enough, Grace providing vital information, and Deacon suggesting Hope revisit her past.
What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continued crying by Liam’s (Scott Clifton) side. His near-death dilemma had her more thankful than ever to have him around. They may not be lovers anymore, but they are still co-parents and best friends. She promised to be there for him forever and for Kelly. Finn was thrown off by Liam’s request to keep this under wraps. He didn’t want anyone to know, especially his daughters. But what was there to do? He had to respect Liam’s choices.
Before long, Finn (Tanner Novlan) came in and Steffy explained what went on. Finn jumped into action, checking Liam out. Grace (Cassandra Creech) arrived in the room and explained everything was and still is touch and go. She pulled Finn aside to worry about Liam’s condition. Quite frankly, this isn’t his first head injury which makes things all the more complicated.

While the doctors talked, Steffy and Liam chatted also. Liam worried about disappointing Kelly and not being there for the daddy-daughter dance. Steffy assured him all would be well. Then, Liam’s exhaustion took over and he sent everyone away so he could rest.
Alone with Dr. Buckingham, Liam demanded to know how things were really looking. Unfortunately, she didn’t have many answers. More tests needed to be run, and more evaluations must be had. For now, though, things are what they are. There’s hope for a full recovery, but everything has to fall into place in the exact right way. She tried to encourage him to reach out for help and support, but ever the protector, Liam demanded the utmost discretion.
Where’s Daddy?
Back at the Cliff House, Steffy explained the whole backstory to Liam’s collapse to her husband. He was arguing with Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) and things went wrong. Liam was lucky to come around and make it out of the house where Steffy was able to find him and save him. Finn was awestruck.
Kelly came home in the midst of their conversation and was thrilled that Steffy was home, but what about Liam? Steffy and Finn didn’t like disappointing her but explained that their plans had changed for the day. Kelly then worried her father wouldn’t be there for the daddy-daughter dance.
Oh, The Heartbreak
Deacon updated Hope about what went down between him and Carter. Hope was upset Deacon went that far. She was afraid that Carter would press charges but Deacon wasn’t. Hope wished her father had stayed out of it. Deacon didn’t regret a thing, though, Carter had it coming and he was glad to take those shots.
Talk then turned to who Hope should really be with. Deacon mentioned Liam. They were always so good together. She’s the love of his life, he’s the love of hers. Why not try again? While Hope agreed her life is infinitely better with Liam in it, she wondered if too much time and too much heartbreak would keep them apart.
At the office, Daphne Rose didn’t waste any time making her intentions clear. She leaned in for a kiss and almost got one but Carter pulled back. “Whenever you’re ready” she said before walking out the door and leaving him alone to pine for Hope. He relived some of his most romantic moments with Hope.
