The Bold and the Beautiful
The blessing and the curse of The Bold and the Beautiful since its inception is that it’s only 30 minutes long. Each day, the show leaves viewers wanting more, which is a great thing! Many would love the show to be an hour-long, which, alas, it’s not.
As a result, some characters spend time on the back burner whereas they might not if the show were 60 minutes long. Who would you like to see have some story? Soap Hub posed this to BB fans. Read on to see the results!
Eric, played by John McCook, scored the most votes, earning 43%, of viewer support. Eric’s been on the show since the beginning and his role as family patriarch hasn’t prevented him from being one of the show’s most popular and romantic leading men.
Eric became one of BB’s most married characters, tying the knot many times, most recently with Quinn (Rena Sofer). The two got over a major hurdle last year, which reminded viewers that McCook, like Eric, always delivers the dramatic goods.
Bill (Don Diamont) came in second in this poll, earning about 22% of your votes. Sure, we’ve seen Bill in recent days as the media mogul fights to get Katie (Heather Tom) back into his life. Viewers might like to see more of Bill’s ruthlessness — not in his personal life per se, but perhaps in the business world? Bill could take over another company or launch a new publication to help stir up the action!
Viewers were reminded just what a powerful actress Rena Sofer is when Quinn went head to head against Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) last year. She probably won’t want to go after Eric’s ex again as she almost lost him over that, but what about exploring the real reason Quinn made a hasty exit from Las Vegas all those years ago. A solid 18% of you want to see more Quinn!
Shauna’s (Denise Richards) non-marriage to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) ended for one simple reason: Ridge is always going to love Brooke. But this doesn’t mean that Shauna’s out of options. A respectable 17% want to see more story for Shauna, who has proven chemistry with both Eric and Bill.
In fact, the four people who ranked in this poll — Eric, Bill, Quinn, and Shauna — could be thrown into a quadrangle (add in Heather Tom’s Katie to make it even more interesting) and you’ve got a story for a lot of people!
