We can see Hope not feeling the same towards Thomas’s pal Vinny on The Bold and the Beautiful given his role in switching Steffy’s paternity results. And she might start to feel better about Thomas since he played a big role in getting Vinny to fess up.
But what about Liam (Scott Clifton)? Might Hope (Annika Noelle) feel differently about her husband? He’s not the father of Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) unborn child, but he still betrayed their marriage vows while Hope was being faithful. Soap Hub asked BB fans if there’s “hope” for Liam’s future!
Sorry, Liam; nearly 47% of voters in this poll say you’re still in the dog house. You may not be called upon to do diaper duty, pay for college, and help guide Steffy’s baby into adulthood, but you still cheated on Hope.
Your instinct upon seeing Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and “Hope” (actually, the mannequin) wasn’t to confront your wife and work things out; instead, you made a beeline to Steffy’s and found comfort in her bed. Pre-planned? Maybe not. But Hope can’t help but look at the result.
Many of you, nearly 37%, want Hope to take comfort in the fact that Liam is not the father. Liam has profusely apologized for his actions that night.
In fairness, he felt that Hope had ended the marriage first and he had no pre-meditated plan to sleep with Steffy (even though that’s what ended up happening). Hope and Liam need to take that money that would have gone into a college fund and go enjoy a nice vacation somewhere. Move on.
It remains to be seen if Hope and Liam will be able to move on together. But as mentioned in the intro, Hope may be willing to give Thomas a second chance now. A small, but powerful, number of voters in this poll, 16%, feel that Hope should look at Thomas differently.
Had Thomas remained silent, the truth might never have come out and then, Vinny’s (Joe LoCicero) plan — that Hope would leave Liam, opening a door for Thomas — would have come true. The winner in all this along with Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy — just might be Thomas.
