Memorable Marriage Proposals On The Bold and the Beautiful!

Thorne’s romantic marriage proposal to Katie was a surprise on The Bold and the Beautiful — especially to Katie’s ex-husband Bill!

If anyone could have given Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) tips on how to propose, it’d be his big brother Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). He’s popped the question plenty of times! Here’s a look back at some of Ridge’s most memorable proposals!

Ridge and Brooke: Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) had come to the conclusion that Ridge (then, Ronn Moss) was never going to marry her. She and Ridge were up at the family cabin in Big Bear when Brooke demanded that Ridge take her home!

He insisted first they have a glass of champagne. Brooke begrudgingly agreed. But she then noticed that Ridge had put something at the bottom of her glass — an engagement ring! She joyfully accepted the proposal!

Ridge and Caroline: Ridge had decided not to marry either Caroline (Joanna Johnson) or Brooke. But then his father Eric (John McCook) asked Ridge to think about a time in his life he felt the most free. That prompted Ridge to pop the question to Caroline in the private dining room at the club. She said yes!

Ridge and Taylor: In 1996, Ridge had decided to propose to Brooke in a very unique way. He was going to get her to model a Forrester showstopper wedding gown at the conclusion of a fashion show.

Alas, Ridge spied Brooke giving Grant (Charles Grant) a kiss the night before the gala. He realized Brooke wasn’t the woman for him and that Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was! Ridge got Taylor to model the wedding gown and asked her to be his wife. She agreed to once again become Mrs. Ridge Forrester!

Will Ridge end up proposing to another woman again? That may depend on Brooke staying faithful!
