CBS has always believed a little synergy can’t hurt, hence the number of reality show contestants from Big Brother who have appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful! Now, another reality star is making her BB debut and she’ll be in more than one episode!
According to TV Insider, Kyra Green, who appeared in the first season of the U.S. version of the reality dating show Love Island is going to pop up on BB today, Friday, September 20 and on Monday, September 23.
Also, appearing in scenes with Green as a model is Marianna Vicente, a former Miss Universe Puerto Rico and the wife of LA Dodger Enrique “Kike” Hernández.
Green’s model character is named Antonia and she’ll be in scenes with Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge). While she says she hasn’t been a big BB viewer over the years, her mother and father definitely are! “I told my parents that I was doing a scene with ‘Ridge’ and ‘Brooke’ and they were so happy! Everyone at the show has been so sweet to me!”
While her gig is reportedly for two episodes now, Kyra Green says she would be up for more, if invited. “I would love that,” she says. “I’ve always been obsessed with this industry and I’m creative. I love meeting other talented people. I’d love to be more a part of this for sure.”
Green and her beau, Cashel Barnett, whom she met when they participated on Love Island might have another CBS show they’d like to try, too — The Amazing Race! However, she’d prefer to stay away from Big Brother.
“It scares me to think about the alliances we’d each have to have on Big Brother in order to win,” Green offers. “It’d be great TV, but maybe not so great for our relationship!” The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
