Jacob Young Says Coronavirus Quarantine Has Strengthened His Marriage

Rick Forrester may have split from wife Maya on The Bold and the Beautiful, but his portrayer, Jacob Young, is sharing how his real-life relationship is stronger than ever in spite of — or perhaps, because of — self-quarantining during the coronavirus.

“I’ve heard many different stories about couples experiences during this quarantine,” Young wrote in an Instagram post. “Some quarantine incidents that have seemed to have brought lovers closer and I’ve also heard there has been many cases of mutual love lost.

“Now with that being said, I thought It would only be appropriate to tell @christenyoung4 and all of you since Chrissy and I already spend a lot of time together. (A LOT) 😳,” the Emmy-winning actor continued. “Now, it’s not that we don’t get on each other’s nerves sometimes. I probably get on her nerves more. Yes, I admit, I’m not perfect! I’m sure that everyone out there is though! 😆 The truth is we have lived through our worst and our best and all of the in-between.

“All of the early things we found lovely, exciting, and perfect about each other were still and always will be there! (Even after driving each other nuts.) sometimes daily!” said Young, hastening to add, “Yet she still loves me just as much as the first day we met, and I love her as much as the first day we met. If you’re not used to spending that much time together, I more then suggest you utilize this time to get to know a few things you might not have known or wanted to know, about the person you love. You might just be surprised at what you may learn or find. 😉#quarantinelove ❤️.”

No word on if or when Rick will return to The Bold and the Beautiful story canvas, however, he’ll be seen later this week during the show’s repeat episodes of the Monte Carlo fashion extravaganza! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
