Tony Robbins Katherine Kelly Lang The Bold and the Beautiful
The Bold and the Beautiful has invited real-life celebrities onto the show almost from the show’s inception. Star stylist Jose Eber, singer Dionne Warwick, as well as the late Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows. Now an impressive name in the motivational speaking world and/or his wife just might be mingling with the Forresters and Spencers.
Tony Robbins, author, public speaker, and life coach, recently bid on a walk-on role on BB at a charity event, according to series star Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke).
“Thanks @tonyrobbins and #sagerobbins for bidding on the @boldandbeautifulcbs walk-on role to save the horses!” posted Lang. “Wow! $50,000 🎉 Thank you for all that you do! #charitygala #tonyrobbins #boldandbeautiful #cbstv #believeranchandrescue.”
As Robbins’ wife Sage is tagged in Lang’s post, it’s possible either Robbins could end up doing the role. Or perhaps both will come onto the program. A celebrity stint on BB can be brief or turned into an arc of sorts.
The late Charlton Heston appeared as himself on BB in 1993 as part of the Salute to Hollywood Fashion Show. It was natural to think that Heston would live in Beverly Hills near Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and that the two would know each other.
In other instances, BB’s invited reality TV stars from Big Brother and The Amazing Race, two popular CBS reality shows, to appear not as themselves but waiters or a pizza delivery person.
Robbins began his rise to fame in the 1980s when he shot his first infomercial, Personal Power, which promoted his business as a “peak performance coach.” By the early 1990s, approximately 100 million Americans had seen Robbins’ infomercial.
He has worked individually with President Bill Clinton, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, tennis star Serena Williams, movie star Hugh Jackman, and singer Pitbull. He is the author of Awaken the Giant Within: How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny.
The event, which benefitted Believe Ranch and Rescue, is a Colorado-based charity that helps horses with medical treatment. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
