Is Santa Claus Bringing A Casting Surprise to The Bold and the Beautiful?

The Bold and the Beautiful — like all soaps — gets into the holiday mood early each year since scenes are taped weeks in advance.

John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) took time out of shooting the show’s recent holiday episode to pose for a photo that Lang posted on her Instagram account.

The picture, shown below, also gives B&B fans an early casting present! It looks like Jennifer Gareis (Donna) will be back on screen for the holiday episode as that appears to be the actress in the background behind Lang’s right shoulder.

While it’s not uncommon for off-screen characters to pop up for holiday episodes, it’s nice to see that by all indications that Donna will definitely be around to celebrate Christmas with her sisters — and a few of her former leading men, too!
