Is Finn Too Good to be True on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Steffy’s life hasn’t been the same since being hit by a motorcycle on The Bold and the Beautiful — both good and bad. She developed an opioid addiction, but she also gained a new beau in Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan.

Soap Hub asked BB fans if Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) handsome, charming, and kind doctor is a dream come? Or will the old adage “too good to be true” come to pass?

The Good Doctor

Almost two-thirds of you, 62%, say that Finn is just what Steffy needs. Short of becoming a long-lost son of Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Finn’s perfect for Steffy in that he brings no baggage with him.

Longtime BB fans know that when Steffy is in the same room with Liam, his brother Wyatt (Darin Brooks), and his father Bill that she’s been with all three men. That has to be awkward on some level. Finn represents a new beginning for Steffy. Despite Liam’s objections, the reality is that Finn told Steffy he was no longer going to be her doctor because he wanted to date her.

The “Too Good To Be True” Dr. Finn?

The rest of you, 38%, are suspicious. You think there’s more to Finn’s story. While it’s true that we don’t know everything about him — like who his family is, when was his last relationship — all the things that sooner or later should come to light.

Eagle-eyed BB viewers saw that subtle look Finn appeared to give that portrait of Steffy and Liam in her home. Finn might have every right to wonder why Steffy has a pic of her ex in such a prominent position — especially if he and Steffy are moving forward with their relationship.

Waiting Room

For now, Steffy and Finn, for a couple not being married, are in the “honeymoon” phase of their budding romance. They’re simply enjoying one another’s company. He is, in fact, being quite patient while Liam, Steffy’s ex-husband, works through his issues of control, jealousy, and concern.
