On The Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas Forrester remains focused on his plan to win Hope’s love. Even in his fantasies, though, he knows it’s not going to happen overnight. And a recent fantasy he had took SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) to new heights!
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) envisioned the future in which Hope (Annika Noelle) has become his wife and her portrait (sorry, Quinn) is hung in the place of honor over the Forrester mansion fireplace.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Hope’s meddlesome mama (at least as far as Thomas is concerned) is not a part of this scenario. His son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), however, is. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed not only was Douglas a bit older in this fantasy, but his resemblance to his current portrayer was a bit uncanny.
BB didn’t use CGI (computer-generated imagery) to make Douglas look older. Instead, the show reached out to Henry’s real-life older brother, William, to play the part of Douglas in Thomas’ fantasy scenes.
William can be seen in the upcoming Netflix series Brews Brothers. William’s also got a role in the film Yes Day, which tells the story of parents who can’t say no to their children for one day (wouldn’t Thomas like to live one of those days!). Jennifer Garner (Alias) and Edgar Ramirez (American Crime Story) star in the upcoming film.
Henry was on set the day his brother taped his scenes. The two brothers posed for photos with their on-screen parents. Check them out in the social media post below. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
