She is a three-time Emmy winner for playing Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) and Jennifer Finnigan turned 38 on August 22.
The Forrest For the Trees
By the time Finnegan assumed the role of Bridget in July of 2000, Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) daughter had stopped thinking Ridge was her father, and had attached herself to Eric (John McCook) as if Ridge had never been anything but her big bro.
(The part where she was named after both Ridge and Brooke… just ignore that.)
But then things took an even weirder turn. When it turned out that Ridge wasn’t biologically Eric’s son and Bridget and Ridge weren’t actually blood related at all, they… developed an attraction to each other. Yeah. First he was Dad, then he was Brother, and now…Blech.
Bridget then married Deacon (Sean Kanan). Who slept with Brooke. And fathered Hope. Blech times 2.
Moving On
No wonder Finnigan earned three Daytime Emmys for all that! But, in 2004, she decided to move on. She left BB and, shortly after, landed a supporting role on Crossing Jordan.
In 2005, she starred in Close To Home, and made several appearances on The Dead Zone. Since then, she’s made a bunch of TV movies, headlined a few more TV series and, in 2017, is on Salvation on CBS.
Lets Get Personal
Jennifer is married to Jonathan Silverman. He starred in Weekend at Bernie’s. He was the live one. Also in the sequel. Still alive.
Jennifer and Jonathan are expecting their first child any day now, so this is the last birthday she’ll get to celebrate where the focus is all on her.
SoapHub hopes she makes it a good one!
