Andreas Georgiou The Bold and the Beautiful
In a case of turn about his fair play, producer, director, and performer Andreas Georgiou will be making a special guest appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful a mere two months after acting opposite Katherine Kelly Lang in his native Greece.
No airdate has been announced as of yet and there have been no forthcoming details about who exactly Georgiou will be playing. He has, however, been photographed sharing a post-filming respite with actor John McCook in the star’s dressing room.
A secondary snap, shared by actress Jennifer Gareis shows her posing with Georgiou alongside Don Diamont, Heather Tom, Finnegan George, Aaron D. Spears, and Darin Brooks. This photo, taken on the Spencer Publications set, might very well offer up the biggest clue to Georgiou’s role. Could he be a friend, or foe, of publishing magnate Bill Spencer?
Although BB will be Georgiou’s daytime debut, there is at least one face amongst the cast that he will recognize. Earlier this year, Katherine Kelly Lang, best known for her portrayal of tempestuous heroine Brooke Logan, made the trek from Los Angeles to Greece to appear in 8 Lexeis, a series produced by and starring Georgiou.
On that program, Lang played Grace Heart, a journalist for New York. Her entire arc, 16 episodes in total, was filmed in just five days. Despite the quick turnaround Lang described her time in Corfu as one of her “best experiences.”
Even though he isn’t exactly a household name in America, Georgiou is one of the most recognizable television personalities in Greece where he has spent the majority of his time.
He began his career after emerging the winner of an elite acting competition program called Dream Show. Subsequently, he appeared in the New York-based drama series 31st Street. More important roles followed, including ones on Brousko, The Didima Fegaria, and Tatouaz.
In 2010, Georgiou formed Make it Productions with fellow actor Koulis Nikolaou. Since that time they have produced a number of popular TV serials including Asteria stin Ammo and 8 Lexeis, which currently reign as Greece’s highest-rated shows. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
