Former The Bold and the Beautiful Star Rome Flynn Releases New Single

Rome Flynn may play an aspiring lawyer on How to Get Away With Murder, but off-screen, the former The Bold and the Beautiful star is an aspiring musician, and he’s just released a new single, Keep Me In Mind.

The single, which shows off the actor’s melodic, smooth vocals, was written by Flynn and produced by noteworthy producers Ye Ali, Bizness Boi, Jessie Reyez, and Fortune & Keyanos.

On his Twitter page, the actor posted a sneak peek of the song, which asks women to consider him, instead of their current problematic lover, and his Instagram account shows a mock-up of the album, jokingly being held by a sleeping Chandler Bing from Friends. “Stream thatttt,” Flynn wrote on the post.

This incredibly talented man is no stranger to the music scene and has always considered it his first love. Last year, the Afro-Cuban actor and model released his debut single, Brand New, which was featured in Hot New Hip Hop.

Although Flynn has been dazzling primetime audiences the past few years as HTGAWM’s Gabriel Maddox, the actor is known to daytime audiences for his two-year-run playing Zende Forrester Dominguez on The Bold and the Beautiful, for which he won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.

He’s also appeared in the television films Ten, Drumline: A New Beat (which also had Mario Van Peebles — ex-Doc Gilmore, One Life to Live), and the Hallmark film, A Christmas Duet, where fans got to hear his voice on a holiday classic.

With filming for How to Get Away With Murder complete, and its final episodes airing over the next two weeks, Flynn is currently in the studio working on an EP to be released later this year. And while he won’t be hanging up his acting hat anytime soon, he does hope to become a rising star in the R&B realm. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
