Maybe not every day, but it’s safe to say that Hope Spencer has been doing a lot of crying this year on The Bold And The Beautiful. We’ve seen a lot of emotions pour out of her, but what about the actress who brings all this to life?
Here are five fun-filled facts about Annika Noelle, the talented actress who’s perfectly played a mom’s grieving anguish and — we, er, hope — will soon be playing loads of joy when she finally discovers that her baby is alive!
Joy Noelle
The actress was born on December 24 so, it’s no coincidence that part of her name (her middle name, in fact) is Noelle, which she has chosen as her stage name. It must be fun being an almost-Christmas baby.
From Beantown To Tinsel Town!
Noelle grew up in the suburbs of Massachusetts and later, moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. While studying film at UCLA, she helped pay the bills by working as both a bartender and a paralegal! Part of her heart will always belong to her home state. Noelle’s a big fan of Boston-based sports teams!
Working Actress
Before landing her role as Hope on BB, Noelle appeared in commercials for such products as Infiniti and Dairy Queen! Her other credits include the TV show Chasing Life and the film Jersey Boys.
Getting To Know You
It only made sense for Noelle and co-star Scott Clifton (Liam) to spend time together so that their on-screen dynamic would appear more genuine. Rather than hang out alone, the actors decided to double-date, bringing along their significant others and made it a foursome!
Strike!
Whenever Noelle visits Massachusetts, she likes to do some candlepin bowling, a form of bowling in which the pins resemble candles. It’s a sport unique to the New England and Canada area. The actress says when she goes home doing this a must! The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times!
