Darin Brooks brings a winning charm to his role on The Bold And The Beautiful. His TV persona, Wyatt Spencer, is a loyal boyfriend and a forgiving son, but what’s he’s like off-screen? Here are five fun facts about Brooks, who’s played BB’s Wyatt since 2013.

Born In Paradise
Brooks was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 27, 1984. He was bitten by the acting bug after playing Rapunzel’s prince in a high school production of Into The Woods.

Salem Start
Brooks made his daytime debut in 2005 as Days Of Our Lives’ Max Brady, the adopted son of Caroline (the late Peggy McCay) and Shawn (the late Frank Parker). He played the part till 2011, winning an Emmy for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 2009!

Slip Of The Tongue
The actor was so overwhelmed when he won his Daytime Emmy, he accidentally let out an expletive! (Oops!) Brooks’ competition that year included DAYS co-star Blake Berris (ex-Nick) and Bryton James (Devon, The Young And The Restless).

Sitcom Guest Star
While soaps have kept him busy for years, Brooks still takes time out of his busy schedule to do occasional guest spots that allow him to further showcase his comedic skills. The actor has guested on Two Broke Girls, Super Fun Night, and Bloomers.
