Five Fast Facts About Katherine Kelly Lang Of The Bold And The Beautiful

She’s been on your television screen since day one of The Bold and the Beautiful as Brooke Logan Forrester. She’s surmounted many obstacles, but what do you know about the woman who plays her? Here are five fun facts about Katherine Kelly Lang.

California Girl
Even though the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery) chastised Brooke from being from “the valley,” Lang was born in Hollywood, California and graduated from Beverly Hills High School. And she has show business in her blood.

Her father was Olympic ski jumper Keith R. Wegeman, whose likeness appeared as the Jolly Green Giant in frozen vegetable commercials. Her mom is actress Judith Lang, and her grandfather was Oscar-winning cinematographer, Charles Lang (Sabrina).

Restless Style
Before landing the role of Brooke on BB, Lang played Gretchen, Patty’s (Lilibet Stern) pal on The Young and the Restless. In the late 1990s, Lang appeared on YR as Brooke in scenes with Eric Braeden (Victor).

Emmy Winner
She’s been nominated as both Outstanding Supporting Actress and Outstanding Leading Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Brooke.

In 2014, Lang took home a golden girl not for acting but for producing the web soap Venice along with Crystal Chappell (ex-Dani, BB; ex-Carly, Days of Our Lives); Galen Gering (Rafe, DAYS), and Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora, One Life to Live; ex-Margo, As the World Turns).

It’s hard to believe but not only is Brooke a grandmother, but so is Lang! The actress has three children: sons, Jeremy and Julian, and a daughter, Zoe, who, in 2018, gave birth to daughter Zuma. Lang also has a stepdaughter, Danyelle.
