Wayne Brady isn’t just the mysterious Dr. Reese Buckingham on The Bold and the Beautiful. The versatile actor, who won an Emmy for Whose Line Is It Anyway?, is known for his work in other genres. Here’s a look at five other stars who’ve been on B&B!

Fabio: The romance novel cover model and margarine spokesperson guested on B&B at the bachelorette party of Sally Spectra (the late Darlene Conley) when she was going to marry Clarke Garrison (Dan McVicar). A mesmerized Sally her laid eyes on the hunk, marveling: “Oh, my Fabio. It’s God!”

Dionne Warwick: The famous singer appeared on B&B to serenade new couple Eric (John McCook) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) when she was living in Los Angeles. Warwick did more than perform a tune on the show. The scripts revealed that she and Lauren were pals and Warwick acted as a “talk to” for Lauren as her confidante.

Frank Gorshin: Perhaps best known to TV fans for his memorable portrayal of The Riddler on the Batman TV series in the 1960s, Gorshin appeared on B&B as George, a homeless man who had tuberculosis when Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was pregnant with her twin girls, Phoebe and Steffy.

After Taylor became infected with TB, she put off treatment until after her girls were born.

Tommy Tune: It may have seemed improbable that Thorne Forrester (then Jeff Trachta) would be cast in Grease on Broadway, but the show had art imitate life after Trachta took a hiatus from B&B to take on the role.

To add authenticity to the situation, B&B had Tune appear on B&B as himself and invite the Forrester heir to come to the Big Apple and be on stage.

Charlton Heston: The former star of Ben Hur and The Colbys appeared on B&B as himself, and he happened to be Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) neighbor. His appearances tied in with the Forresters’ fashion show theme which was “A Salute to Hollywood!”

As B&B is set in the real-life town of Los Angeles, it’s only a matter of time before more celebrities appear on the soap as either themselves or a fictional character Brady’s Dr. Buckinghmam!

The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
