Fans Feel THIS WAY About Katie And Wyatt Getting Romantic

For a half hour soap, The Bold and the Beautiful does lots of mixing and matching on the romantic front. How do fans feel about B&B’s latest torrid twosome — Katie and Wyatt?

Soap Hub polled fans and the answers may or may not surprise you!

Family Affair
Katie and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) were partially drawn to one another because neither of them have been romantically involved with anyone else recently.

After amassing more than one Emmy-winning reel coming to the realization that Bill just wasn’t the right man for her, Katie (Heather Tom) came decided that she and Bill are better off as friends and co-parents, not a married duo.

Wyatt, conversely, was flying solo following his breakup with Steffy. Her lingering feelings for Liam (Scott Clifton) were far more lasting than the matching tattoos they had put on their bodies.

So, Katie and Wyatt, who had already hit it off business-wise, found that there was an attraction between them and they acted on it!

Just under half of you, 49% to be exact, are happy that these two wounded birds have found one another.

Enough Is Enough
While B&B has been trading partners within the same family since the show’s first year, there comes a point where viewers say that they can’t take any more inappropriate pairings. Katie was Wyatt’s stepmother for crying out loud!

Unless Wyatt has a vendetta against his dad (and we’re not saying he shouldn’t), it doesn’t make much sense that these two would be making out after successful international fashion shows. A solid amount, 28% of you voted to “STOP THIS NOW.”

While lots of B&B characters are able to play musical chairs with their romantic partners (Bill is wed to Katie’s sister Brooke right now), sometimes viewers just can’t take any more.

Time Will Tell
Wyatt and Katie’s relationship, however, is still in its infancy. And some of you feel that the jury’s still out on whether or not they can become a viable couple. A respectable amount of voters, 23% to be precise, say “They could become good,,, but they aren’t yet.”

We’ve no doubt that B&B will introduce some heavy conflict into the budding romance. The question remains — will Katie and Wyatt be invested enough in one another to go the distance? Will his mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer), even let them?
