Most people might remember Erin Moran from her childhood and teen days when she shot to fame in the 1970s and early 80s as Joanie Cunningham on Happy Days, but as an adult she also had her turn as a soap star on The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
The beloved actress was found dead in her Indiana home at age 56 Saturday, after years out of the spotlight.
In 2009, Moran joined fellow old time family sitcom star Barry Livingston (Ernie, My Three Sons) on B&B as married couple Mike and Kelly, old neighbors of the Logan clan that includes Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom).
Moran was only 13 years old when she made her Happy Days debut and became a teen idol sensation by the early 1980s when she and Scott Baio starred in their own spin-off series, Joanie Loves Chachi.
After her sitcom days, Moran had a string of guest star experiences, as well as rumored drug and alcohol problems. An autopsy to determine cause of death is pending.
