On The Bold and the Beautiful, April 13, Electra crossed a line. While most people in a new relationship are focused on their partner, Electra made demands of Will and Dylan. She’s supposed to be happy with R.J. Yet, she seems more intent on controlling the people she’s shut out of her life.

Key Takeaways

  • Electra viewed Dylan’s first paycheck as her own ticket to independence.
  • She gave her ex-BFF an unrealistic timeline to move out.
  • Electra is also keeping Will on a leash, issuing an ultimatum to ensure she is the center of his universe.
  • Even though she’s with R.J., Electra is trying to assert herself in her ex-boyfriend’s and ex-friend’s lives.

Electra’s Harsh Ultimatums

At Forrester Creations, Electra (Laneya Grace) noticed that Dylan (Sydney Bullock) received her first paycheck. Now, ,she believes that Dylan can immediately move out of Will’s (Crew Morrow, who is a proud son) house on that one paycheck.

She tried to pick Dylan’s brain to see if she still had integrity. Electra was confident that she would find a place of her own. But Electra had no idea of what goes into renting an apartment. She was convinced that after a few weeks of work, Dylan could easily move out of Will’s place.

Then, she made Dylan choose a side. Electra wanted to see if she and Dylan were still on good terms. If Dylan were a “real friend,” then she would move out and get as far away from Will as possible.

In that same episode, Electra and Will crossed paths. She warned that if Dylan didn’t move out, the two would blow their chance to have a relationship with her. She made it clear that she wants her ex-boyfriend and friend to prove their worth to her.

Why She’s Desperate for Control

Electra transitioned from Will to R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti, who teased R.J.’s future). After the fallout with Will, she viewed R.J. as the “safer” bet. He’s the golden boy who offered a path of wealth and influence.

However, Electra’s choice hasn’t led to contentment. Rather, it has triggered a need to micromanage every aspect of her life. She’s terrified of losing the ground that already crumbled because of her Aunt Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer).

By keeping Will and Dylan under an ultimatum, Electra can ensure that her past cannot resurface and destabilize her new Forrester reality. The more she clings to R.J., the more she obsesses over controlling her old life.

Electra fears that she could lose her leverage if Will moves on or Dylan becomes too independent. She didn’t choose R.J. for love. She chose a distraction, and now she’s willing to steamroll anyone who might get in the way of her path.
