Donna is the middle sister on The Bold and the Beautiful. She was known for her calm demeanor and even-keeled personality. That image shattered after Katie shared that Hope could join Logan. Donna’s strong reaction signified a shift that the Logan sisters are one step closer to total implosion.

Key Takeaways

  • Donna previously supported Katie’s new venture and newfound independence.
  • Donna’s reaction to Katie’s latest plan was explosive, teasing an even deeper divide among the Logan sisters.
  • Donna feels that Katie is only using Hope to secure her success and footing in the fashion world.

Donna Forbids Katie to Hire Hope

Katie (Heather Tom) thought she could trust Donna (Jennifer Gareis). They get along better than she does with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) right now. With Donna, Katie doesn’t feel like she’s stuck in the spotlight. Nor does she feel the need to defend herself.

Up to this point, Donna has supported Katie’s new fashion house. She even rooted for her sister to seek independence from Brooke. Katie teased that Hope (Annika Noelle) could join Logan. Donna responded with a resounding no.

She informed Katie that Hope would be staying at Forrester Creations with Brooke, where she belonged. She didn’t care if Liam (Scott Clifton) was the one who initially came up with the idea.

Donna assured Katie that Hope isn’t the type of woman who would willingly back down to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Regardless of Hope’s feelings and Liam’s motivations, Donna felt that it was a ridiculous idea. She urged Katie not to allow it to happen.

The Turning Point for Donna

Donna previously filled the role of the supportive sister. She was the voice of reason in Katie and Brooke’s fractured relationship. She also bluntly stated that her husband, Eric (John McCook), wasn’t being taken advantage of because he agreed to work for Katie.

Donna also told Brooke that Katie wasn’t wrong to use the “Logan” name or Eric’s designs. However, Donna felt that Katie had gone too far this time around.

Donna strongly opposed Katie’s idea to bring Hope on board. She claimed that it was a bold move that could cause total chaos. Donna realized the depth of the sibling rivalry and feared that Katie was resorting to nuclear tactics that could tear their family apart.

The Logan feud has already forced other people to choose sides. It’s likely that the Logan family divide will deepen into the summer. Which side will Donna end up on?
