Does Thomas Forrester Being A Bad Boy Ring True On The Bold And The Beautiful?

The Bold And The Beautiful has had some serious baddies on the show over the decades — “Angela Forrester,” Sheila Carter, Morgan DeWitt — and now, Thomas Forrester appears to be in the running to join them. But is his place among the wicked truly warranted?

Soap Hub dipped into the history books to see if Thomas’ past really is congruous with his current behavior. He wasn’t always the manipulative baddie we see today — or was he?

Thomas trying to lure Hope (Annika Noelle) away from Liam (Scott Clifton) appears rather Machiavellian, but it’s not the first time the Forrester heir has tried to pull a fast one.

Thomas has certainly been taking notes over the years when he’s seen those around him try to manipulate situations. The young man once faked a text message to keep his father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), from reuniting with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

And while no hanky-panky occurred between Thomas and Brooke after they ate some berries that caused hallucinations, Thomas lied that he and Brooke had been intimate in order to get Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) Forrester stock.

In 2012, Thomas and Rick (Jacob Young) were in a fight. The former shoved the latter so hard he crashed through a second story window!

And how could anyone forget about the time Thomas and an inebriated Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) had sex following her breakup from his dad. Caroline regretted it immediately, but Thomas claimed that the union had been consensual.

Thomas inflicted another kind of pain on his father when, after years of being frustrated with him, he punched his dad, chastising him for all the years he went back and forth between Brooke and Thomas’ mother, Taylor (Hunter Tylo).

For some reason, all of these actions, however despicable, don’t match manipulating a woman out of a happy marriage and using his own motherless son to get what he wants!
