Does The Bold And The Beautiful Need More Storylines Other Than The Baby Swap?

Sure, it’s a half-hour show, but The Bold And The Beautiful seems to have just one big storyline going on right now. And that, of course, is the baby swap storyline. Is that something that needs to change?

Granted, there are other subplots with the show going on that are either directly related to the baby switch storyline or not directly related. They include Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) romance and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) conflict over Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).

The majority of you 89%, say, yes, you want more stories on the show. BB fans have been asking for the baby story to wrap up because it’s been going on “forever.” It’s actually only been going on since January when baby Beth was stolen. It seems like it’s been a while because it’s been the only (main) story that the show has had.

BB can certainly do more than one story at a time as it has in the past. had several stories going on at once. Hey, maybe the baby tale could be stretched out even longer if viewers were invested in stories that have nothing to do with Hope (Annika Noelle) getting her child back.

The rest of you, 11%, say that you’re fine with the show just having the one major tale and its subplots occurring. After all, BB is only a half-hour and there’s only so much air time the show has to tell its stories.

There’s going to be plenty of time for other characters to take center stage once Hope gets her baby back. And the more and more people who find out the truth, the closer Hope is to learning it, too! The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
